Mee Mee's Authentic Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Temple

Update: So sad that I have to change my rating from 5 to 1 star, but tonight's service was unacceptable. My wife and I came in for our usual quick bite. Sue, the server, asked us to sit at the two top next to the register counter. I motioned and asked to sit at the 4 top by the wall in the same dining room. She LITERALLY rolled her eyes, dropped her fake smile into a scowl that would turn your blood cold. She took us to the next room over (beach bar) and gave us a seat. We were made so uncomfortable that I seriously asked Sue if there was a problem. My wife - who never speaks out - said the same. She continued to give us a look and we completely lost any desire to stay. I asked to speak to Mee Mee on the way out. Sue RUDELY jumped ahead of us and spoke in Thai to Mee Mee. I asked her to repeat what she said in English and she refused. I told Mee Mee that we have stuck with her and chosen to eat here instead of the 3 other Thai restaurants nearby. We left and went to the other Thai restaurant in Belton and dropped our $60 there. Not good business, Mee Mee. Mike, feel free to contact me. I'll leave the former review below and I hope we can get this rectified.

Excellent Thai food, especially for such a small town. Mee Mee is usually there preparing your meal for you. Her husband works front of house and is extremely nice and helpful. Tried a variety of dishes here from the Tom Yum soup, pad see ew, and rice dishes and more. I've never been disappointed. And now they're open...

Thankfully all the Thai restaurants were closed in Killeen or else I wouldn’t have been able to experience such PHENOMENAL food! I got the steamed dumplings, red curry with chicken , and glass noodles soup with shrimp, and holy cow everything exceeded expectations! I had to drive back to Killeen and by the time I got to the house it was STILL piping hot and fresh! I got the curry with a spice level of mild and she gave me some more paste in the side to add just incase it wasn’t spicy enough but it was perfect! The glass noodles soup was perfect, and with the shrimp it added the perfect taste, it was exactly what I was looking for! I also got that with a spice level of mild and I wouldn’t have it any other way! The steamed dumplings were good as well! It comes with a sweet dipping sauce that I added some chili oil too and it pushed it over the edge! Do not get me started on the service! The lady who took my order was super sweet and extremely helpful! I told my husband that I need to take him there just based off the customer service! he rarely dines in but he must experience the customer service! Overall, 100/10, would definitely recommend! I cannot wait to go back to make my way...

We stopped in at Mimi’s authentic Thai cuisine here in Temple Texas. It has a quaint, comfortable atmosphere. Once we sat down, they automatically brought us a fried spring roll with a sweet-and-sour sauce. The spring roll was perfectly crisp with very flavorful filling, and perfectly cook vermicelli noodles. We ordered there steamed dumplings which were tasty, but not my favorite. We went with the waiters recommendation of combination Pad Thai from their specialty menu today on March 1 of 2023 (inside top of ordering and it’s not on the menu, it’s made with peanut sauce instead of the usual sweet and sour sauce). Get ready to get lost in the sauce! The noodles were perfectly cooked and generously covered in their house-made peanut sauce. It was topped with a combination of shrimp, pork, chicken, beef, fried scrambled egg, scallions, carrots, and crushed peanuts on the side to add as you please.
