If I could rate my experience a zero star, I would but in order to provide feedback, I have to click on 1-star. This location at Hacks Cross in Memphis, TN doesnāt deserve a 1-star. The manager who was taking order at the register on March 27, Sunday, was very rude and unprofessional. I placed my order online and the order was confirmed. I did not anticipate any problems at all, because my order was supposedly ready for pick up at 5:06pm. I came in the store at 5:16pm and there were two other customers in front of me so I patiently waited for my turn. The cashier/manager called on me and I told her Iām picking up an order and I told her my last name and what I ordered. She looked at her register, she said that she didnāt have my order. So of course, I was surprised and so I asked questions to find out what happened to it. She said itās not in her register so thereās nothing that she could do. I checked my order on my phone and double-checked the location, and when I tried to show my phone to show her my confirmed order at that location, she rudely told me that she could not touch my phone. I didnāt ask her to touch my phone, I was just showing her my order. She insisted that she didnāt have my order and she refused to offer any help. I even asked her if she could find the order under my first name, but she looked at me and rudely said that she didnāt have my order and called on the next customer. I was appalled as to how she refused to offer any help or explanation. My payment went through, but it looked like I was not about to get what I paid for. While trying to figure out what happened to my order, a young man who appeared to be a server came to me and asked me about my order. He seemed hesitated to offer help at first because the same manager who didnāt offer any help kept on calling his attention to do something else. So I stayed in the store for few minutes as I tried to find out a phone number of McAllister to call, because nobody seemed to care about what happened to my order at that location. After few minutes, the same young man came back and told me that my order was on the shelf. I heard him telling the manager that he found my order, however she did not offer any apology or explanation at all. The waitress (Alisa)that took my order was extremely rude. The gentleman (Cortez) that was preparing my sandwich had placed my order in the window, while the waitress(Alisa) was taking another order to the table for a family that was eating in the restaurant. I thought that when she came back from giving that family their food, that she would give me my order, that was to go. She didnāt. She took another customerās order and proceeded to make his drink orders; meanwhile my order is still sitting in the window, so I asked the waitress Alisa if she could give me my food, because I was in a hurry to get on the road before the storm came. She rudely told me that she will give it to me when she finished making the guyās drinks. I told her my order was in the window before she even started making the guyās drink order. She preceded telling me it wasnāt.. so, in other words, sheās arguing with me. I requested my money be refunded, because I didnāt want the sandwich anymore. I refuse to give my money to an establishment that employ rude employees. Cortez refunded my credit card and he was very apologetic. I told him, all she had to do was to just give me my order. He apologized again. Also, a strange thing happened when I went to do the survey from my receipt. It said that (my transaction id#) had already taken the survey⦠which I had never even attempted to do the survey, until today. But Iāll contact McAlisterās Headquarters and let them know what horrible customer service I received from their waitress(Alisa). The 3 young ladies at the counter greeted her and ask was she ready to order. She had a NASTY attitude very rude, short and displayed this to the young ladies at the counter. I must say they did not let this rude CUSTOMER alter they're attitude. they proceeded to take her order, not sure what the problem was with the lady, but clearly she had one. She mumbled somethings under her breath about how her food was stacked in the bag, how she would call corporate and would never come back to THIS Mcallister And how they would make her "click" I watched this young lady with her family a young girl and a gentleman rant and rave about how they were rude disrespectful and she would curse them out. She left the store came back in ask for one of the young ladies name, the young lady gave her, her name and the lady walked out. I went and told all three of the young ladies job well done. The CUSTOMER is not ALWAYS right! For whatever her problem was she clearly took it out on the young ladies working. Ppl we have to do better. There's is no way I would display this type of behavior to my young daughter, teenager etc. Nor should it be taken out on the establishment, the workers etc. If you had a problem simply ask for the manger or explain to the person you have a problem with x,y,z.
