I recently had the pleasure of dining at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse before heading out for an exciting day of go-karting, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. The atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant, perfect for a pre-adventure meal.
Our server, Ilias, was exceptional. From the moment we were seated, Ilias greeted us with a warm smile and an enthusiastic attitude that set the tone for the entire meal. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he made excellent recommendations, ensuring that everyone at the table found something to their liking. Ilias was attentive without being overbearing, always available when we needed him but never hovering.
The food at BJ's was top-notch. We started with the famous avocado egg rolls, which were crispy on the outside and perfectly creamy on the inside. For the main course, I opted for the BJ's Signature Deep Dish Pizza. The crust was wonderfully thick and chewy, and the toppings were generous and flavorful. Each bite was a delight, balancing savory flavors with a hint of sweetness from the tomato sauce.
My companions tried a variety of dishes, including the Parmesan-Crusted Chicken and the BJ's Classic Burger. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a crispy, flavorful crust. The burger was equally impressive, cooked just as ordered and bursting with fresh ingredients. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us all fully satisfied but not overly stuffed.
Ilias's service truly elevated our dining experience. He was quick to refill drinks, check on us, and ensure that everything was to our liking. His friendly demeanor and genuine interest in making our meal enjoyable were evident throughout our visit. It's not often that you encounter such dedicated and personable service, and Ilias made a lasting impression on us.
The ambiance of BJ's added to the overall positive experience. The decor was modern yet cozy, with comfortable seating and a lively but not overly noisy atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal before a day of fun activities.
Overall, our visit to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse was fantastic. The combination of delicious food, a great atmosphere, and outstanding service from Ilias made it a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend BJ's for anyone looking for a satisfying meal with excellent service. We left the restaurant happy and ready for our go-karting adventure, thanks in large part to the wonderful experience we...
Read moreThe staff at this place is trash. It used to be my Monday place to stop off with my wife and kids after work. The last several visit tested the limits of patience. One visit I had some waitress complaining about being at work after I asked her how her day was going. She then proceeded to give us nonexistent service. We had to get her manager to cash out.
The next visit we were seated in the area the bartender covered. We ordered, got our food and drinks and they just disappeared. They were gone for like 15 or 20 minutes. Nobody on the floor except one dumpy manager lady that was just staring out the window and then she disappeared.
Finally when we saw someone it was the short Wednesday Adams looking waitress from the previous visit. My son waves her down and she looks at him, rolls her eyes, and walks away. My wife was like she must be holding a grudge because we didn't give her a great tip for bs service. If you don't perform why should you be paid.
Anyway, Wednesday disappeared and we were back to no folks on the floor. Finally we flagged some dude down named Caine that actually helped us. I don't know what happened to the Aliyah lady that took our order and brought us our food. I got my second refil in the form of a Togo cup. We all tipped the Caine guy cash because I didn't want anybody else getting it but him.
I've been stopping in there at least once a week for 2 months. Your staff basically sucks except for like maybe 4 people. The rest have no hustle or are very lackluster.
There really is no point to going back. The food is hit and miss but your pizza is great. We would go in and each of us order a pizza. I can over look a lot but 2 crappy visits in a row...
Read moreI have a few local restaurants that I tend to frequent more than others. Often, the deciding factor for me is the beer selection, and that is one of the things that keeps me coming back to BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Katy.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is a chain of restaurants that offer their own beer on tap as well as a large selection of other beers. Their own beer, which is brewed elsewhere and shipped to the individual restaurants, is quite good and there is a wide variety of styles, which is a plus. They have a full bar, too, so if beer isn’t your thing, you need not worry- they can mix up any drink you desire.
With the food, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Katy has an extensive, multi- page menu, which means there is a lot to choose from, which can get frustrating. I tend to go for one of the sandwiches, with the burgers rating highest on my list. The burgers are tasty and made the way I like them. They also pair very nicely with the beer, which is another reason to enjoy them.
The atmosphere at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Katy is influenced by the large, open bar area and the abundance of television screens, usually tuned to sports. The place isn’t saturated with television screens, and I appreciate that. It means you can watch sports if you like, but you can also look in a different direction and not be distracted by the televisions. Oh, and the inside of this BJ’s location is large, and that means there is almost always an available seat.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Katy is the closest member of this chain, to my house. The atmosphere, beer, food, attentive service, and ability to get seated quickly are reasons to continue coming back,...
