The manager here is TERRIBLE! Anne...ugh!! We called in an order at 8:40pm and she told us it would be ready in 5 minutes...no mention the doors were closed or we would have to wait in the drive thru line for pick up. We said we would be there in 15mins. We arrived in 15 mins and called their phone line to let them know we arrived. We noticed a sign on the door "drive thru only" and called to confirm we were ready to pick up our order. ANNE answered and said "I can't open my door - you have to wait in line for your order." We were beyond perplexed, since the drive thru line had 14 cars ahead of us and most had not ordered. We ended up having to wait 45 additional minutes to get back to the drive thru window where ANNE was. She had ZERO remorse for us having to wait! When we offered a bit of advice, and told her that they should let customers know ahead of time they will have to wait - again, she showed no empathy at all. I asked her to give me the manager's name, she said "Lisa is the manager...call back to talk with her." Another associate (Julian) came to the window and was awesome and empathetic and truly listened - he was NOT the manager. He explained why they were behind - whole time ANNE was lurking in the background. He then told us ANNE was the manager. What?!?! She blamed someone named Lisa for the operational blunder and the whole time she is the manager! She sucks and if she were one of my employees, she would be demoted IMMEDIATELY!

Look at the other reviews - they...

Tried it for the first time the other night and was very disappointed. It may have had something to do with the fact that we went a little after 9 PM, but the chicken was very chewy and tough, like it'd either been sitting out too long or had sat in the freezer too long. The breading was completely soft instead of crispy, which leads me to believe it was probably a bit of both. It had the same texture as bagged frozen chicken fingers you heat up in the microwave. That being said, the spices were actually pretty decent, and I liked the taste, so it had that going for it.

The mashed potatoes, on the other hand, were pretty flavorless. The gravy wasn't bad, but the potatoes themselves were bland enough that they couldn't be saved by it. I don't usually expect much out of fast food potatoes since they're almost all universally made from dehydrated premixes, but that was the first time I've had any that tasted like they were mixed with just water and nothing else. The rolls (of which I bought two) were also pretty bland and unpleasant to eat.

My poor experience may have been because of when we went (if I'm being charitable), but unfortunately, they're not getting another chance from me. The not-so-fresh-tasting chicken and flavor-lacking sides are definitely enough to ensure that was the first and last experience...

We had a horrible experience with Abby. We ordered 12 pieces of chicken. When we got home we only had 9 pieces. We had to dive over 30 minutes. No apology and we had to wait 30 more minutes for the missing chicken. She also lied about being the store manger and when we asked for the owners information she then lied and said she was only the assistant manager. Abby had the audacity to pull the camera to make sure we were telling the truth and tried to say the only shortage is 2 pieces of chicken vs 3. Which is untrue but the not is they shortage is chicken. Again no apology she kept ignoring us and we basically had to fight for our chicken we paid for. Like what in the world. The last manager was way better when they were located on Barker Cypress. I will drive to The other side of town from here on out. Since under new management the service sucks and the food isn’t as good. Bad bad business RUN also there inside is always closed early the drive thru wait is horrible you get...

Food: The chicken was very good. It was hot, fresh, tender and juicy. The skin was crispy and it reminded me of the old fashion shake and bake (not the current version) which was very good. The fries were hot and crispy with a seasoning. The potatoes tasted like a roast beef sandwich. The food was simple buts solid. I do strongly suggest better forks. It is very hard to eat chicken with a flimsy spork. Service: This needs some improvement. The lady taking the order was so quiet that I could barely hear her. Another lady was rude and put off when I asked for a fork. Atmosphere: very clean and separate from the gas station, they were not connected inside. There are plenty of tables to eat there. The restrooms were also very clean. Overall, solid option to grab chicken. We will review again and update to confirm consistency.

I am a usual healthy eater, but Frenchy's is one of my dirty secrets . I love it here don't judge me, I had a craving for some solid fried food and frenchy's didn't disappoint. This new store front restaurant they have is gorgeous on the inside and out great choice of ambiance. Upon entry I was greeted with a huge smile and received great service, the wait was a few minutes. Totally worth it for some extremely fresh food, the chicken and shrimp were cooked throroughly and the fries were crunchy and flavorful. My only desire would have been that they let the food fry a tad bit longer for more crisp! I was extremely satisfied and will be back in a couple months

First timer, wanted to try the chicken but saw the three-piece fish dinner and tried that with a side of red beans, instead, which came with a roll and tartar sauce. Not bad at all! I forgot to ask what kind of fish it was but they're large so I guess it's catfish. I also ordered three boudin balls. The red beans and the tartar sauce were pretty plain however the fish and the boudin balls were fried perfectly in cornmeal-breaded goodness so now I have to come back and try the chicken even though it appears to have a thin coating of breading on it instead of a thick crunchy braiding like other places. Did not check the bathrooms.
