Decided to brave the rain and go out for some Mexican food. Had never been to Jalisco's so decided to try some fajitas. The first table I was taken to was wet and had food on the seats. I ordered the beef fajitas for $14.50 as the menu photo clearly states. They were served on a sizzling platter, which at Jalisco's means burnt onions and salty, tough fajitas. The sides were no better. The rice was gummy and the lettuce looked like Cole slaw. Not once did the waitress check on me. I ate what I could and asked for the check. I only had water so I was expecting the check to be about $16. Imagine my surprise when she gave me a check for $17.86!!! No breakdown on the check for tax or anything. I was planning on paying with a $20 bill and telling the waitress to keep the change, even though the service and meal were terrible, I still believe in tipping. When I pointed out to the waitress that they had incorrectly charged me, she went to the manager. She said he said only beef was $16.50. I told her that's not what the menu says and when I ordered it I had pointed to the item on the menu and she had asked me if I had wanted beef or chicken. She went to talk to the manager and this time he decided to grace me with his presence. I'm a real condescending manner he told me the price was $17.68. I told him his menu clearly states that beef OR chicken fajitas $14.50, and that I had put my finger on the menu item when I ordered it and that the waitress asked me if I wanted beef or chicken. He then said that beef or chicken means beef and chicken!!! I asked him if he knew what the word "or" meant. He said I would have to take it up with the manager and he just walked away. Looking at the nearly empty restaurant I understood why it was. I paid and left no tip. If you want salty, tough fajitas served with gummy rice and Cole slaw, then...
Read moreI hadn’t been there in a while . The food was ok. We were 4 at the table and we asked for more chips. The first basket of chips they were broken in small pieces and not enough, so only two of us enjoyed it. Then the food wasn’t there yet so we ordered 2 more baskets while we waited for the food. On top of that the baskets weren’t so big nor filled up so much . When we asked to pay... the ticket didn’t indicate the prices for anything, and I read chips 2 times. I asked how much for the chips and she did not know. We asked if it could get taken off since we didn’t know, and I said there should be a sign or something. The bus boy should have let us know that the refills were charged or the waitress could of let us know as well. It’s the first time a Mexican restaurant charges for refills on chips , at least for us. The manager refused to discount the chips. The worst part is the manager didn’t show up and the total did not add up. It was so weird ...the whole experience. We should of just went to Taqueria Aranda’s that was near by honestly. Last time we will go to Jaliscos and I’ll let people I know not to go cause I know many are used to ordering refills on chips when waiting...

Update: 1/26/2019
With this update I had the WORST experience. For starters they NEVER greet you or sit you to a table, so you choose your seat. The waitresses will bluntly ask you what you want. If you speak English to them they WILL look at you stupid and act stupid. I order 2 large beef quesadillas and a burrito to go. Easy peasy right? Simple request right? Should get the food in the next 15 to 20 minutes correct? Nope! Got there at 7:10PM. 10 minutes later, 20 minutes later. A whole hour and still no quesadillas. My boyfriend goes up to the manager and ask what's going on, the manager apologizes and says itll be ready in 2 minutes. We've been waiting for 1 WHOLE HOUR! so 2 minutes passed and the waitress came with the WRONG ORDER. We walk out and ate somewhere else.
Bottom line, don't come here if you don't speak Spanish cause they'll treat you stupid and because of the language barrier, you'll get the...
