Michelandia y Botanas — Restaurant in Texas

I was really excited to try Michelandia y Botanas because the food and micheladas looked amazing. I went through the drive-thru and placed my order, but I think there was a language barrier since my Spanish is not the best. No big deal—someone came out to verify my order before placing it. Even better… or so I thought.

The lady who confirmed my order seemed annoyed she had to deal with me, but I went ahead and paid. While waiting, my husband called to order more food. When she returned my card, I tried to place another order, but she just shut it down like, “We don’t have that. We’re out.” Out of chicken and tortillas? At a Mexican restaurant? Okay… No alternative suggestions, no effort to offer anything else. Just a straight-up no.

As for the food, the michelada was decent, not the best I’ve had. The ceviche tostada? Not a fan. But the elote with Hot Cheetos? Absolute fire. I appreciated that it came in a flat dish so I didn’t run out of toppings before finishing the corn.

Customer service is a big deal for me, and honestly, the attitude I got left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure if...

Nice clean place. Lots of options on the menu as well. I tried El campechano and the Coctel de camarón. The plates didn’t look much like the pictures. The ceviche and coctel seemed to have been missing a bit of some flavor. Also tried the Caribeña the only fruit it had was apples, orange, and about 3 pieces of pineapple and the bottom was filled with ice to compensate for the lack of fruit was not a fan of that. Overall restaurant was nice but I didn’t like that the pictures in the menu didn’t match what you actually get, also plates were missing some kind of flavor the shrimp and ceviche just seemed...

We were looking for a place to have a drink and relax on a Sunday. We found this place on Google. At first it seems just like a carry out place. Boy were we wrong! This place is awesome. Perfect place to come,enjoy drinks, listen to music and just chill with good finger food(seafood). The vibes is chill with all kinds of music. The writings on the wall are funny 🤣 We ordered the big seafood platter with beer and it really filled us up! The employees and the manger himself served us well and made us feel welcome. Definitely will be back on...
