The first thing I would comment on is Taco Bell's ordering system. When we went in a lady came to the counter and said you want to place an order? We said yes and she said do it on the machine behind you. As we were asking another question she had already turned and just walked away. Another customer that was waiting on this order commented she is just downright rude!
As far as the ordering whoever developed the software for this menu system did a really poor job, as it is confusing and certainly time-consuming before one is able to figure it out, if ever.
After clearing the menu/order screen three times we were able to finally get an order placed. We ordered the dorito tacos, in my opinion that is the best thing on the menu and these were good as usual.
We wanted to order a Mexican pizza and even though they're advertisements say they have brought back the Mexican pizza there were none!
Another problem I have with Taco Bell is every time they bring out something that is pretty good it soon disappears namely the Santa Fe quesadilla and the Mexican pizza.
If you want something to eat very late at night your choices are extremely limited in the Katy area and the Taco Bell drive-thru is open However, while we were there, this Mason Road location locked the dining room doors before 9:00, so several customers who obviously wanted to dine in were unable to enter the dining room. Some did the drive through, but several others just drove away.

Read moreWe just got a party pack. When we were getting in the car the bottom of the box came undone completely. Some of the tacos fell on the floor of the car and some on the seats. After this incident I went inside and explained what happened and an employee rudely told me that they are not responsible for “malmanufactured” boxes. And if they are not who is? Even though it was a big order the box was not taped at the bottom (they had a whole roll of special tape stickers if this was not a necessary item for heavier orders they would not have those). They later claimed they only taped the boxes if customers requested, but doesn’t seem right to me.I had not even asked for anything other than a different box I don’t understand the rude treatment I received today. Read moreI saw the TV commercials about free delivery for a limited time and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. When I placed the order it said delivery time was approximately 45-60 minutes. I received an email confirming the order and a link to track the delivery. The tracking showed the order was being prepared and in approximately 20 minutes the driver was ringing my doorbell. I was pleasantly surprised. The driver was a young male. He was in a great mood, had a big smile and greeted me as I opened the door. He handed me the bags and told me to have a nice evening. He actually skipped down the sidewalk to his car. I ordered much more food than I could eat, thinking my son would stop by latter. All items were hot and fresh. The order was accurate including the number of sauce packets.
