Meh 😕. Good ice cream and cookies, mixed feelings on the staff. Not worth the $10 per person we paid.
No where to sit. Don't go here if you're wanting a place to sit and enjoy your dessert. We are a family of 6 so we all had to stand around a 2 seater table and take turns sitting. Nothing to drink other than milk, water, and bottled regular coke. That was disappointing.
The ice cream was good. Nothing extraordinary though. Same for the cookies. We got three drinks, two bear bowls and 4 cookie ice cream sandwiches. We paid over $60 for that. If this ice cream was the best freshest thing ever, artisinal, made on site, unique gourmet flavors, maybe that price tag would be warranted. I even had an ice crystal. Not a sign of freshness.
The staff was nice but also rude. One girl was really nice and helped explain everything, it was our first visit. Then another girl had people behind us jumping a head of us. We were accused of taking too long by the guy working there, told we needed to speak up but it was said in a "nice way". Still felt passive aggressive. Same guy accused me of not saying that I wanted a topping. My family confirmed I had asked for it but he wasn't paying attention when I said it. So my fault again I guess? Was just annoying really. My daughter said when she asked to have her coke bottle opened the lady rolled her eyes at her. So there was a mix of pleasant and rude/passive aggressive behavior. So mixed feelings here.
I won't go to this location again. I'll try the pretzel shop nextdoor or someplace else at Grandscape. If I try this chain again it would only ever be at a different location. Seems like others had better experiences so try your luck I...
Read moreI ordered 1 vegan brownie cookie it was horrible and 1 brownie it was horrible. Ok so with hygiene & disinfection guidelines at a low standard in my opinion.. resulted in me tasting the store air in the baked goods. It's simple if pastries aren't stored in a case or container that is sterile & clean. The customer will literally taste the air in the food. No different than storing food in my fridge unsealed, my food will taste funny. The store has heavy foot traffic so clean the windows everyday, hand prints are the norm sadly in today's resturant industry. 🤢 Next the brownie is a thin soggy coaster. If baked items are old, the oils will make the flour soggy/greasy. Corner bakery also has pastries out in the open for employyees sneeze, huff, cough on them. Let's apply common sense & cleanliness while operating...
