Seafood Junction — Restaurant in Thornton Township

Repeat after me! "I will never visit this fast food restaurant" I went in with genuine positivity. Had no intention of looking for anything negative in this location. I was ready to give a great review I even took pictures to post. While in the restaurant everything went great. However this was overshadowed by the food when I forgot home. The chicken wings and fries tastes as of they were fried together The wings are not full wing. So if you order a 5 wings dinner you will get 5 pieces of wings. Not 5 full wings. Menu says 1/2 shrimps for $8.4, beware....it's not posted on the menu that this is only 12 shrimp. When I got home I weighed the shrimp, it only weighed 4.5 oz which is 1/2 of what I should have received. Please go somewhere else for your shrimp When I called to informed them that they shorted me by 1/2 my order they left me on hold for over 15 mins so I decided to hung up. Never Never!!!! PS. The young lady that answers the phone and take orders are very disrespectful. On 10/14/22 at 8:11 I called to explain that the food I ordered was cold, it was very little sauce but very very water. The only thing that was hot was the water and lemons. Not to mention the food WAS NOT FRESH AT ALL. After, explaining to the young lady what was going all she said was oh. I asked for a manager and she said uh and hung up. I called back over 5 times and she never answered. I guess she didn’t know I was going to do this review. That is not how you treat customers and you never know who people are. If I could give it no stars then I would. Update: after making this review I found the owner or manager email and number. Left messages and emails. No response…finally called the restaurant back and spoke with a manager and he told me I was lying. I told him I could bring back the food. Went here Friday morning when they opened. Customer service was poor asl. Cashier did not greet me and started taking my order with her back turned. She did not seem happy, welcoming nor friendly just attitude all the way around. I placed my first order still, then I tried to place my second order and the older lady cook came around the corner and said she wasn’t doing allat cause she was the only one there. They were only steaming for now. I said okay and walked away. Black folks have to really do better cause they don’t know who’s coming into those doors frfr love this place down started going to the one on 87th years ago until they removed steak from their menu then I went to the one on 95th regularly. I live too far from there now and was trying the south holland location for the first time. Can’t say I’d love to go back and try it out again.
