Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Thornton

This was my first and probably last time visiting any Einstein facility. I ordered a turkey and cheddar. Asked for extra cheese. Got to my car and took a bite when I realized I didn't get the extra cheese I asked for. There was also no mayo or mustard on the sandwich and no chips in the bag. I went back in and they remade my sandwich. An employee approached me and said, "Just so you know, we don't put the condiments on the sandwich, they're in the bag". I told her that's fine, but they weren't even in the bag. I also told her I didn't get any chips. She checked my receipt and told me they had it marked as no side, and that I didn't tell them I wanted any. I didn't realize I had to ASK for something that was included in the meal. Idk how my order got messed up, I was the only one in there, so they could've taken their time to make sure it was correct. 2 employees were discussing how broke they were while I was paying for my food, which is extremely inappropriate and awkward. The countertops were covered in crumbs and were dirty. Not a great first impression and not worth the $10 I paid for...

I ordered a Farmhouse with double egg. Simple enough, right? What I got was a cold, soggy sandwich with one sad, rubbery egg and barely any of the other ingredients. The bacon was limp, the cheese wasn’t melted, and the whole thing tasted like it had been sitting out for an hour. It wasn’t even warm just cold and pathetic.

I brought it up to the staff, thinking they’d fix it. Instead, the manager came over, and let me tell you. she made everything worse. No apology, no offer to remake it, just a dismissive, “That’s how we make it,” followed by a look like I was wasting her time. Unreal.

The whole crew seemed totally checked out, and it shows. The place was disgusting. Crumbs and trash all over the floor, sticky counters, and not a clean table in sight. I watched one employee handle food with no gloves after wiping their nose with their hand. I wish I was kidding.

The vibe here is straight-up careless. Bad food, bad service, and a manager who clearly doesn’t care about doing her job. I won’t be back. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else...

I had been looking forward to an “all nighter” for quite a few days. When I unwrapped my bagel the hash browns looked like a side I had ordered from IHOP, the entire square came right off. I’ve never even seen a bagel from Einstein like that before. They had a nickel sized amount of the “sauce” on both my sandwiches. They began to cut one in half, stopped midway and must’ve just gave up because they didn’t even bother with the second one.
