Ok, I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. I come to this McDonald's a few times a week because it's nice to sit and look out the windows as I enjoy my coffee. This morning, after the place had been closed for remodeling updates, I stopped in to find I could only order from the kiosk. A senior citizen can't get a senior coffee for 69 cents on the kiosk, only the small coffee for $1. The manager lady said I could only order on the kiosk but I could pay at the register. She went over to the kiosk and overstepped me pushing the buttons for me like I was too "whatever" to do it for myself. She kept asking, Is THAT ALL you want, a senior coffee??!! So, feeling pressured by her tone, I said ok, I can get a breakfast sandwich. She pushed the section and standing less than a foot away, turned and stared/glared at me till I picked one. I felt uncomfortable to hurry up for her sake, so I picked something. She grabbed the receipt like a mad person and went to the register. So, after all that, her register wouldn't take a credit card payment so she growled, ARRGHhh, real loud. At this point, I felt like I had inconvenienced her. She asked me again if I had cash when I had already answered twice that I didn't have cash. So, long story short, McDonald's kiosks are not set up to sell a senior coffee, something you can buy at the counter. McDonalds has offered the senior coffee for a discount for years. I could blame technology or I could blame the snotty young manager who could have overridden something to give me the right price. I didn't get my food order btw, it was all just a waste of my time to stop here. I have been coming to this McDonald's for a few years now and have seen them give street-savvy people who look homeless, full meals for free. I would have been perfectly happy to pay cash for my senior coffee if I happened to have cash on me, which I did not. Don't get me wrong, I didn't visit hoping for or wanting a freebie. It's about how I was treated for 10 minutes before walking away without anything to eat or drink. I told her I didn't have cash to pay for my order at the counter, yet she inclined me to add to my senior coffee order. She said I could reorder and pay at the kiosk, paying the higher price for the small coffee, of course. If they're going to offer senior citizens a 31 cent discount for coffee, then they should be prepared to honor it, regardless of the payment source. It's a matter of principle, they either need to put up a sign that says, "We no longer offer senior citizens the SENIOR COFFEE DISCOUNT unless you have CASH" or they need to be prepared to honor that price when customers ask for it, without making the customer...
Read moreMe and my two sisters and one of my sisters boyfriend went to McDonald’s 06.25.24 (last night) around 10:00pm at night and there was 3 boys there. As we were ordering these boys started talking about my sisters boyfriends appearance. We had left it alone at first. Then the boys went to go get there stuff and walked passed our table. When they were going back to there table they had said something and I had asked them if they had an issue with us. They had laughed and walked away. Then one of the boys had came to our table saying “I do have an issue” then called all of us ugly. Then we had called our other sister and told her about it and as we were all laughing the boys were leaving and had asked us if we were laughing at them I had responded with “yes” and they told us to meet them outside. As they got outside I had saw that they had a gun. We had went up to one of the workers and had asked them if we can hide in the back were all the workers were, the worker had responded “no” and we had went up to the front desk to ask someone else. The workers didn’t even acknowledge us and I had screamed to get there attention. The boys were coming in and out so at this point they were harassing us. The other workers said no that we can’t be safe from these boys. I had told her to lock the doors and she went to go get the manager. Me and everyone else were scared so I had told her to hurry up because my life was in danger. They had came back and locked the doors. We had already called the cops and same with my other sister that was on her way to the McDonald’s. They are still trying to find the teenage boys but all to say. These workers are over all rude and don’t care about...
Read moreNewer, very modern, up-to-date McDonald's. Some of the tables have wireless charging stations built-in to the middle of the table top. The high top tables have electric outlets underneath to plug into for charging. 5 kiosks large, easy to use kiosks to order from. Super friendly, conscientious staff. Very clean dining area and bathrooms. FYI - no play place or amenities for kids.
I've mostly dined-in at this location while out and about for work and it's a great place to stop, charge up your devices, get some food (so far in my experience it's always fresh and hot) and even get some work done. I've stayed for almost 3 hours before getting work done while for my next appointment and they still occasionally come around and ask if I need anything without making me feel like I needed to leave. While there are other people dining inside here and there, the vast majority of their business is drive-thru and curbside delivery, both of which are constantly busy. All in all, one of the better McDonald's I've been to lately.
**One major negative for me: it's ALWAYS freezing inside the dining area. Regardless of the temperature outside (it's a blizzard outside right now 3/14/24 7:45pm) and they still have cool air blowing from the ceiling vents. I sometimes have stayed for 1 - 3 hours and even when it's cold out the heat comes on only every once in a long while and only for a few minutes. Even if they don't want to turn the heat on they could at least turn OFF the cool air from blowing onto every table when it's 28 degrees and snowing out. Maybe they're trying to subtly hint to those dining inside to eat and get out. Or use the drive thru or curbside...
