Disappointed, I like the food and the drinks were great, but the service and menu are not good. We came here for my son's 21st birthday as a family just the 4 of us. The QR Menu was frustrating to navigate because of all the options. I asked for one Physical menu and the waiter seemed annoyed from the minute he came to our table. Not one smile or friendly gesture. But sometimes we can lift someone's spirit by being friendly or making a joke, but not this guy. I am not sure, but it could have been the language barrier. Needless to say, we were ordering food and drinks, so not cheap. I had to send my plate back because they made my carnitas tacos out of flour and not corn, and nowhere in the pictures or description say they are made with flour. Street tacos normally aren't. (I can't eat the flour) So between the asking for the menu and me needing a correction, his attitude was not good. I don't remember the last time I tipped under 20%, I am a notorious good tipper, but I couldn't do it. If the service is good and the food is bad, I still tip well, bad food isn't the server's fault. But when the service is bad, and rude, and my husband even asked for one more Modelo that he didn't get, he brought the ticket out instead. I couldn't give him a good tip. I hate writing bad reviews, but the owners need to work on training their folks. 1) Friendly Service 2) Servers need to know the menu 3) Menu needs to reflect what you make as well as the correct pricing. My husband's ala carte tacos were more on the ticket than what the menu said. I just paid it, I really just wanted to leave at that point. I've been here a couple of times, and love their Cabbage Salsa, but I won't be coming back unless I hear some changes...

The food is great, nice music overall, the only I wish if they would not put such a high volume of TV during the fight night. Unfortunately, the service is not the best, specifically we always get waitress who goes by name Alfredo, who is not always willing to help. I went with my family tonight, music was nice, but suddenly they cut off the music and TV sound went really for fight night and me and my family could not even talk with each other. I got up from my table, because I could not get any servers attention to reach to our tables. Finally I went to the cash register podium and spoke to Alfredo and asked him if the volume of TC could be lowered. Instead, he told me that I need to go see manager and asked him to reduce the volume. I found this inappropriate because he should call manager, not me reaching out to him. Also, I told Alfredo, that Margarita drink which we ordered we could not even drink due to high amount of alcohol in it, you could not even taste the Margarita drink, instead he replied oh well, I am just a server, I do not make drinks and took off. I was shocked of this behavior. I do not understand why he treats his clients this way, that’s not right. Every time we come to this place, mostly he is the one serves us and we always leave unhappy. Last couple times we were served by other waiters and had much better experience. I really the owner of this place will fix this issue about waiter Alfredo, maybe give him more customer...

I hate to write negative reviews about servers and especially bartenders, but I cant let this one go. I ordered some fantastic tacos from the lunch menu that I was only able to access from my phone's QR app and I was confused about the lunch specials because of it. What is is this 2020? What happened to the large glossy colorful detailed menus? So I ordered the tacos all carbon and the bartender asked if I wanted 3 instead of two, so I said "sure", well I was not told that the $10.95 lunch special would be $17.95 if I ordered 3 tacos!! what?? Diego the bartender who was flippantly disregarding the issue told me it was because I ordered a dinner plate of tacos with more rice and beans- when I specifically asked him for the lunch special. If you're going to charge $7.00 more for one more taco, please tell me! I was having lunch with a colleague and he ordered the burrito special and he received the same amount of beans and rice that I did in my regular dinner taco platter, clearly there is not much difference in food quantity, just a price. I'm disappointed that I had to look at the menu on my phone, which made it difficult to see the differences, and disappointed that our service was lousy when it come to communication. oh btw I speak Spanish fluently so it wasn't a language issue. Diego simply didn't care. I wont be returning to Tequilas any time soon, even if they do have the nicest selection of Tequila at any...

Went into Tequilas to grab some takeout tonight. I have been waiting to try it for quite some time now. When I arrived it was very busy. Typical Mexican restaurant decor and vibe when you walk in. When you first look at the menu, you may be intimidated by the sheer size of it. They have a ton of things to choose from. I decided on just trying a couple of classic dishes. The fajitas Cancun and some Enchiladas. The fajitas Cancun are a mixture of steak, shrimp, and chicken, sautéed with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and pineapple served I side of a pineapple. The mixture is seasoned pretty well. Packed with flavor. They do one of the things I hate most... serving shrimp with the tail on. I don't get that. It's so annoying. They also did not give me any tortillas for the fajitas, so that was also a little unfortunate. The beans are a little bland and under seasoned pinto beans. There is nothing to remember either good or bad. Surprisingly, the rice was EXTREMELY flavorful! It was very good. Some of the best I've had!! The Enchiladas honestly taste about as good as they looked... meh.. everything was bland and lacked flavor. The ground beef filling was greasy and bland, and the sauce was boring and bland. It comes with refried beans and rice. The rice!! *chefs kiss** Overall, the food was ok.. the fajitas warrant another chance, so I might be back if I'm feeling a little risky!

I paid $22.99 for 3 very small corn tortillas with beans, a few slivers of beef, and cheese. Came with mushy, but yet undercooked rice. I'm not sure how that is even possible. Their pinto beans were pale in color, and the flavor matched. Tasted like they were just boiled and sprinkled with salt! No seasoning, no spices... nothing. I don't understand how people eat at this place. It's expensive for the bland food that you get. Now let's talk about service. We were seated and took the waitress 10 minutes to come ask us for our drink order. We wait another 10 minutes and drinks come. She takes our order and never comes back until our food is ready. Mind you, our food came out 30 minutes later. Luckily, a manager came around and offered to refill our drinks. The waitress only came once to check on us after being there for well over an hour. She brought us our check and said she'd be our cashier. We waited another 8 min or so, and she hadn't come back. We just went up front to pay our check. Paid $60 for 2 of us to eat, and we didn't even get alcohol. HERES THE BREAKDOWN: Expensive, tasteless food, poor service, and our Mexican ancestors are turning over in their graves every time we eat this so-called "Mexican" food. I think this food comes out of a can and is just heated up. I'm not sure... but this is not authentic and only slightly better than Taco Bell.
