Wendy's — Restaurant in Thornton

I recently visited Wendy's for breakfast and opted for their bacon, egg, and cheese English muffin along with a side of seasoned potatoes. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't busy at all, both the English muffin sandwich and the seasoned potatoes were served cold.

The bacon, egg, and cheese English muffin, which should have been a warm and satisfying breakfast option, was disappointingly chilly. The combination of cold ingredients took away from the overall enjoyment of the sandwich. Additionally, the seasoned potatoes, which should have been a flavorful complement to the meal, suffered from the same issue—they lacked warmth and freshness.

Given the lack of patrons in the restaurant during my visit, I had expected my meal to be freshly prepared and served promptly. However, the cold temperature of both items suggests that attention to detail and quality control might have been lacking in the kitchen.

While I have enjoyed meals at Wendy's in the past, this particular visit fell short of my expectations. I hope that in the future, Wendy's can ensure that all items are served at the appropriate temperature to provide customers with a more satisfying...

Not worth going to. Drive literally anywhere else for more edible food in a timely manner. Seriously, drive across the street to Murphy’s and grab a SlimJim and a Red Bull for a less frustrating meal. Not only will you be on your way quicker, you will not be missing items, your food will be at the temperature of your choosing, and you will not be made to feel as if the staff is taking out their employment frustrations on you.

On a serious note, however, they are short staffed, and they just don’t value their customers whether they have staffing or not. My husband waited 30 minutes for kids meals, only two people were working so the food was just slapped together and kinda dry (who could blame the poor person back there running the world’s most stressful one man show?!). We had missing items, and couldn’t do anything about it because the lobby was closed and we didn’t want to sit in the line all over again.

This is among the worst managed Wendy's. The service is astoundingly slow, and the cashier is always, without exception, standing about watching the line increase and not tending to customers. Average wait time for food will be 20+ minutes during lunch. Worse still, this place is filthy. There are large bugs everywhere, and a fly lands on most burgers before they are served. The food is usually pretty cold by the time it's handed to you, this because the employees make each part of a meal at a different time and whatever is made first gets left to languish on a windowsill or countertop. The kitchen clearly has heaters and warming zones, but for some reason they are left empty while your food is left in the open to be a feast for the bugs and get cold. The health department needs to shut this place down, or else force a total overhaul of management. Avoid eating here, it isn't good enough food to be worth...
