Waffle House — Restaurant in Tifton

traveling N - I75, Tifton, Ga. Stopped for, sandwich. Only gas stations and a few fast food places. Nothing else around. Ordered a sandwich. Standard, simple. Heard cook confirm with only waitress. Only 3 people in dinner. Waitress was more concerned with cleaning than customer service. No interaction, not friendly. I'm surprised she got the order correct. I had to repeat it several times. Ham, cheese tomato, toasted wheat sandwich. It was obvious I was traveling. It is common to cheat travelers at many beside the highway places in the middle of no where as they know the traveler can't or is too far away to come back. The next exit was 15miles.. Cold white bread, egg cheese, sausage. Yes this is a small thing but it is the principle of the thing and the fact that Waffle House has zero way for a customer to contact them. There is no local phone #. No national/corporate #. Only 1 VM with no option to leave a message or speak to a person, it automatically hangs up. No on line complaint form. A feed back form only. No way to get your money back. Complete disregard for customers. Set up to cheat customers no matter the problem- large or small., Set up to steal. Any WH anywhere can cheat you with no way to have your order corrected or get a refund. This is not the business you think it is. There may be a decent location here and there with professional employees but not likely. The 3 employees there- 1 waitress and 2 cooks. None of them looked at customers or had the slightest interest. The place wasn't too clean. If there had been another dinner around I would have left. That is what they count on- no other...

The waiter who served us was eating on the floor with fingers to mouth and not washing while still serving customers, plus offering us some Philly steak and peppers of someone else's they didn't eat. There were 2 cooks. I never got their names. All I can remember is 1 older man, white hair, and an African American . I saw the white older man put 1 of the grill containers inside the trashcan pushing whatever it was further into the trash can then again no hands clean just put the silver container back to be used again as it was .we were sitting past the dish washing station. We were by the refrigerator section . And to think this store on the way out has a 100 on the wall... that's 1 to many numbers. I told my other we would NEVER return he asked me to not speak up and I didn't but now I have the time to let people know this isn't a 5 star or 1 star it's a disgrace of any place I've ever eaten.. Service is okay depending on who's serving you. Food has become a little over priced for my taste. My husband ordered a double cheese burger, waffle, and drink. Cheese burger was 5.75 add 3.50 for the extra patty to make it double the waffle was 4 then 250 for the drink. That was 9.25 for his burger alone. So with gratuity and whole price of his burger, waffle, and flat soda it was round 20 dollars for just him. Did I mention it was extremely slow in the restaurant and they completely forgot to bring his waffle too him! Then the server acted like it was a big deal to remove the waffle we never even received!!!!!!! Ugh people have lost their sense customer service in...
