I've had the worst experience with this brand ever. The nearest Bojangles near me is over a 180 miles away. Also we were traveling from Florida and was on a schedule. Walked in at 6:30 pm and placed my order. Was told that it would be 15 minutes to complete, I agreed and my other guest ordered. Paid and went to sit down. This is where things took a turn for the worse.
First I heard a worker tell a customer that a trash can was "closed" because she just changed the bag and didn't won't to do it again. Confusing the customer and me. Next was the fly to guest ratio. There were more flies in there than people including the workers in the kitchen. Now we are at 7 pm, another worker comes out with a tub a sweet tea to refill the dispenser. Well you can probably tell how this went. He left the tub open and walked away. Flies flew in but none returned. He filled the tea dispenser and spilled it in a bunch of places. Afterwards he just walks off, never to return to clean it up.
At 7:15 pm we finally go our 15 minute order. Was given a the order and the worker verified the order. We left and noticed when we were 15 miles away that we were missing two items off our order. We decided not to turn around as it would be more time getting home.
Upon getting home I tried to do the survey at the bottom of the receipt. It gave the option for contact but never gave the option. Then I went to the website and did the same thing. That was over a week and half ago. Still no response from them and it seems like they will not either.
Now that I think about it I'm glad I didn't take any photos of this. I hope others have a better experience than I did and hope that my next experience...
Read moreWe decided to stop here on our road trip and we wish we hadn't. The actual process of ordering the food through the drive-thru was perfectly fine, it was when it came to getting our food that the problems started. We were told to pull into one of the parking spots and they'd bring the food to us. I'm not sure how long we waited but it was more than ten minutes. When the woman brought the food she asked if we had gotten a chicken sandwich, I said yes thinking she meant a chicken biscuit sandwich. I was going to correct myself but then realized she only had one bag which wouldn't of been enough for all the food we ordered. I started to ask about the rest of our order and the employee made a annoyed noise, said hold on and walked away as I was talking. We checked the bag to see it wasn't a chicken biscuit but a chicken sandwich. We had gotten out of the car to see if we could talk to someone to explain the mistake when the same woman came back out with some of our order, again not all the food we had ordered just some of it. We started to explain that we ordered the biscuit not a sandwich but the employee interrupted us and said that's what you said you ordered. We once again tried to explain the mistake but she interrupted us for the third time saying that's what you said you ordered. We went back and fourth and she finally went back inside to get the rest of our food. We waited a little longer and went to the door to find the employee talking badly about us to the other employees with our food just sitting there. All the food was cold but one item, the fries and chicken tenders were old...
Read moreMy friend recommended me to try Bojangles, so it’s my first time here. I was so excited about it.
I got there around 1 pm on Sunday. They had 2 customers already ordered and waited for food. After I made my way to the cashier to order, I mentioned that I forgot to bring my glasses with me and I couldn’t see the menu display on top as clear. I asked if she has a paper menu or something to help me order. She said no and looked away. So, I asked if she can recommend what to order. She shook her head. Then, I asked what’s famous here? No words came out from her. I said alright then. I walked over to see the food in the tray. I saw something looks like chicken nuggets. I asked her if I can get chicken nuggets. She said no chicken nuggets. I asked what do you have that similar to that. She said no and again looked the other way. She never wanted to help me order the food. Not sure if she had a bad day or very unhappy with her job. I figured the menu have number for each item, so I let me get #1. She said it will take at least 10 minutes for that. I said ok, I will wait. The food actually came out pretty fast. I feel like she tried very hard to prevent me from eating there. I also added an order of chicken and thigh combo.
At this point, I just wanted to leave and lost interest in the food. I didn’t feel any special with the food. Either that or the bad service...
