This is my go to McDonald’s however tonight was the was the worst experience.
I believe the managers name was Jose. I could be wrong although that’s what I heard when another staff member was trying to get his attention.
I ordered 2 mcchickens double cheese burger ice cream cone and 6 piece nugget. Around 830pm Wednesday evening in the drive thru with the mobile app.
While waiting for my order I witness the car in front of me handing a bag of food back to the employee at the window. Once I got to the window I asked the young man if the bag he is handing me the same bag that was touched by another customer and handed back thru the window. He stated yes and I then stated I’d like my food remade. He tells the manager and the manager comes to the window. Clearly he didn’t want to hear what I had to say and I explained as I have worked in the restaurant industry that once the food has left the window and/or another customer has touched it the food needs to be remade.
He then questions me as to why and that they didn’t touch the food. I mean do I really need to elaborate. Food safety. How do I know that they didn’t touch the food. So as he checks with the young man after trying to argue with me (what happen to customers right?) and why would I lie about an order that cost 8.55 cents.
Well he gives me a free large cold fry and apologizes and then blames it on the young kids working there.
I received a receipt that was not mine and I did not have my complete order and my burger was made incorrectly.
I go inside with my 5 year old daughter and the manager sees me and says oh what now. I explain everything stated above and he proceeds to pull the food out the trash to look at it and show he did replace the food. While looking at the garbage food he states “this is bullshit” and I said are you cursing at me ? He says no he’s talking about the bag of food. Again while my five year old is standing right there.
Disgusting display of customer service by a manager. Clearly didn’t want to hear what I had to say and was mad the young man was honest with me.
It was completely uncalled for and the way I was treated like an annoyance was mind blowing.
Not to mention the day before while dining in a young lady working the food counter where they bag the food was drinking a beverage and touching the straw. I was thankful she did not hand me my bag.
Health authority any one? Not sure if I will be back and that’s two McDonald’s down between Tigard...
Read moreI went through the drive thru today, and the clerk used my points for a free big mac and ask me for a different one, and it would not repopulate on my app so I was out the big mac. So I went inside and while I was explaining to another clerk because my wife has the app and sends me screenshots so i can add points as well as use discounts (wich can only be redeemed once). The manager took over and started arguing about that I needed to show him my app wich through drive thru you only need to give them the 4 digit number to redeem and add points but since the drive-thru clerk messed up and i scanned the QR code said was already redeemed and my wife hasn't hit a mcdonald's in weeks. I spoke to the manager (an older gentleman) in Spanish then when he switched to English he began using a tone and being really hostile so I politely said wow it's like it's coming out of your pocket and told my buddy let's go because of the way I was being treated like I'm scamming the system wich mcdonald's would be worse off if we both had apps would have been 2 big mac's. So we walked out and the manager probably came to his senses and followed me out and said I will do this for you just once if you still want to eat here , and I replied no thanks and hopped into my car, because I wouldn't want anyone with any resentment towards me cooking and or handling my food. The golden arches didn't leave a smile on my face today that's for sure and that was my go to one after pick and pull down the street. So I drove to Carl's Jr and spent 30 bucks on 2 meals gladly I might add after this experience. On Friday Aug 25th...
Read moreThis lady named Vicky or something and she was one of the rudest people I've ever met. I was on a phone call inside when she put a medium-sized drink in front of me. I had just gotten some bad news and was still on the phone listening to the bad news when I said, "I ordered a large." Apparently she didn't like my tone, sorry! I am going to school to be a special education teacher and devote my life to helping others. I never have arguments with people and I'm known for being a positive and nice person. I seriously live my life to make others happy. So she proceeds to slam my drink down and then say horrible things about my character to her co-workers and customers. I asked her to please stop saying those things and it's not nice to say things about customers. Again she talks negative about me and says that she is the nice one. I tried explaining about my phone call but she didn't care. I waited to get her name and as she saw me she says, "HAVE A NICE DAY!" very rudly. If she care so much about having a nice time and is such a nice person, then you shouldn't talk behind someone's back and use negative tones. I'm not trying to talk behind someone's back here, I'll be happy if she knows how I feel. I had to park and cry because I hate when people think I'm trying to be mean. I might sound like a baby, but it's really important to me to be kind and she tore down my character so bad, and doesn't even know me. I didn't say one bad thing about her, I'm not even trying to say she's a bad person. But making someone cry...
