We got in line at 9:04pm. We sat in line for 1hr...yes, 1hr. With maybe 6 cars in front of us...at most. We sat at the talk/ordering box for 10mins before my husband walked around to ask what was going on. Of the 8 employees, including the manager, single no one knows how to to work it. So we were told to drive up to the window to order...still waiting in line behind 2 other cars. Once we finally make it to the window, it's 10pm. Keep in mind that they close at 11pm. They tell us they are out of everything except for bone-in chicken. One of the staff says they don't even have any biscuits for the bone-in meals, because their manager won't let them cook anymore. At this point, the line had gotten wrapped around the store, and the final cast is right in front of us. We speak to the manager who blames all of her poor management choices on her manager above her....Which sounded like she was trying to make a statement of some kind at the customer's expense. We said they need signs up for people and to send someone around that extremely long line to tell the cars what is going on, so others don't waste 1hr if their time as all of the other restaurants are closing. She said okay...we waited a few minutes, saw nothing happening but a bunch of employees standing around staring at each other, so my husband went from car to car to save others from our painful misfortune that caused us to miss out on planned late night activities. This is absolutely inexcusable!!! We tried to be nice and understanding, but them not going and telling people after they said they would is very very low and dirty and shows that THIS POPEYES cates absolutely nothing about their customers. I think there needs to be a new manager, even if it's one of those 16yr Olds in there who seemed more caring...
Read moreI don't normally take the time to write a negative review. But in this case, I will make an exception. My wife had a busy day, and asked if I could take her somewhere for diner. She has always had a liking for Popeye's chicken with her favorite side dish of rice and beans. Upon arrival, we were immediately informed that the rice and beans were not available. Disappointing. So, we decided to make the order as easy as possible, and ordered 2, two piece meals. One plain and one spicy. After placing the order, and paying for our meal, we were informed that they were out of chicken. (irony) But we were told that they were getting ready to prepare some more chicken, and if we could be patient, it would be available shortly. So, during the next 45 minutes while we were waiting for our food, I watched the a flurry of dissatisfied customers complaining about the long wait, wrong orders and no paper towells in the mens room. Not to mention the soda machine only dispensed carbonated water. When our order was finally fulfilled. Surprise. The order was wrong. Both were plain. No spicy. We spoke with several customers who got tired of waiting in the drive through and came inside to find out what was taking so long. One customer told us this was his second attempt today to place an order. And it was the second time today he was told he would have to wait. In full disclosure, my wife and I have eaten at other Popeye's locations, and have always been pleased with the experience. But, we will never again set foot in the Titusville location, even though, it is the closest location to our home. As I said in the beginning, I don't normally wast my time writing a negative review. But if it prevents one person from experiencing the disappointment we felt tonight. I feel it would be well...
Read more10 minutes in the line to order my food then 25 minutes at the window to pay for my food. while at the window I was ignored and looked at multiple times I ordered a simple meal since there always out of chicken tenders and that's okay sometimes keeping track of your inventory is difficult then while I'm there I notice the girl taking orders is walking away playing on her phone and then coming back rubbing her nose with her gloves on then serving up food. Gross but okay I'm still holding out hope they were using utensils to dish up the food. employees dipping there cups in the ice machine after drinking from them all day. Cool not like were in a pandemic or anything not a single working wearing a mask while serving food and if they were wearing a mask it was barley on there face. Then to top it all off after my 25 minute wait and everyone staring at me while I'm waiting at the drive threw window they start to hand me a bag that was a order rather large for a 4 piece and realized they were making the wrong order that was for the car behind me. so then the girl at the drive threw realized oh no were making the wrong order. So yeah rush rush to not look dumb. Too late would like to point out that if she hadn't been worried about her phone she might have realized that they were making the wrong order. Finally I seen them serving up food for customers inside faster than those in the drive threw. But I seen something which after reading a few comments looks like a habit they dump crumbs and whatever is at the bottom of the tray in peoples food boxes so if you go there and get the runt of the litter and crumbs galore now...
