I usually enjoy visiting this Starbucks, but the past two visits have been disappointing due to the same employee, Kam, working the window. He consistently comes off as if he doesnāt want to be there and treats customers with an unpleasant attitude.
Most recently, he tried showing me where to insert my card for payment, but the way he held the machine made it impossible to read the screen. When I mentioned I couldn't see what it was asking (it was the tip screen), he sighed loudly, huffed, and shoved it toward me, saying, "You can take it,ā before turning his back and walking away. I let him know that was rude, and he just kept his back to me, continuing with an annoyed tone. Even when handing our drinks and asking if we wanted a straw, he did it with a high-pitched, sarcastic voice that felt totally unnecessary.
It was a small misunderstanding that couldāve been handled with basic courtesy. Instead, I felt like a burden for just not being able to read the screen. If Kam is that unhappy working with customers, he either needs support and retraining or might want to consider another role. Iām only leaving this review because I doubt Iām the only customer whoās had this experience. Hopefully management addresses it, because no one deserves to be treated that way over...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot all Starbucks stores are the same. I have given one in St. Augustine a 1 star review, others 3 to 4 stars, but this location gets 5 plus stars. This location actually takes the time to make your drink properly. I love the white chocolate mocha. This location gives you the full pumps of mocha providing the correct amount of sweetness every time I go here. Other locations seem to work so fast they barely give you half a pump of mocha each time they pump it. When passing through this area, I always stop here. They also give you a full cup of coffee unlike the Port Orange location where after the whip cream settles, the level of the coffee is barely touching the bottom of the circle of the green logo on the cup. This occurred the last 6 times I went to that location, so I stopped going there all together. Purchasing the largest venti size but getting less than a small size made me give up on that location. Also that location barely has mocha flavor in their coffee, even after paying for a extra pump of mocha is still not as sweet as the Titusville location without paying for any extra pumps. I wish this location was closer to me so I could enjoy their finely crafted...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Starbucks crew is cheerful and helpful, but I wouldn't consider them to be a crack team. Of course it's Titusville, not Boston Massachusetts which is what I've been used to over the years. Up there everything has to be running at about five hundred miles an hour so I can understand that they run things a little slower here. The Ambiance of the Starbucks is more than a little sparse however. I think they took to Spartan and approach to the interior design and it is not what you would call comfy at all. Not the kind of place that I'd want to bring a date or have a meeting at for that matter. So, overall, is there anything wrong with the Starbucks? Not particularly... But, if I'm being straight about it it's not cozy and it's not super fast service. And given the choice, I probably choose another venue for a date or casual meeting with friends or business meeting for that matter. If you're just looking to get some Starbucks coffee and you jonesing for a latte, go for it, but if you got a little bit more time I'd head down to Crescent coffee in downtown Titusville instead. Their mochas...
