Dave's Cosmic Subs — Restaurant in Toledo

I stopped by this place for lunch I ordered a salad a monster sub two sodas and two bags of chips and it was 45 dollars . Ok not problem I’ll try it thought it was way over priced !!! But I had ordered it already no biggie. So I take my bags and go back to work. Open my sub and it was the most embarrassing sub I have ever seen for 23 dollars I expected it to crammed full of stuff or atleast kinda look like a sub. But there was hardly any meat on the sub at all I mean Walmart subs are without a doubt 10x’s better. Needless to say I’m a fat guy and this disappointing sub really hurt my whole soul I mean my whole face was sad :-( . So I called and said I was just there and ordered a sub and paid 23 dollars for a monster and there’s no meat ( and when I say no meat I mean literally there maybe 12 slivers of the thinest corned beef my sad eyes have ever seen) on this sub is this normal I’m embarrassed for you to be giving people this kind of food and the girl cuts me off and says you only paid 10 dollars for your sub . I said no I paid 23 dollars for this thing and she says oh you must hav gotten the monster one I said isn’t that what I just said and she says well you can bring it back and I’ll make you another and I said no thank you…. You should have made this one the right way in the first place !!!!! So if you want to way over spend for a whole lotta nothing and feel like you deserve to ge treated poorly then this is the place for you !!!! In the future I will drive 6 miles past this place to get 3 x’s as much sub for half as much at your friendly neighbor hood...

The staff at this location was the brightness star of my first visit. It proves that friendly and professional will shine above any downfalls you may experience in your visit.

I ordered an Italian Roast Beef sub and decided on the combo meal and ate in the back by the windows overlooking the river. It was a perfect view and the restaurant was very clean.

The sub was toasted and hot with cheese stringing as I pulled it apart. So very tasty. I decided on sea salt chips and the fountain drink. The chips were a nice cheat and added a good crunch.

I will probably not make the same mistake on the fountain drink when Ezra asked if I wanted a bottle of soda. The reason is the fountain cups were very thin and cheap and would not handle the pressure of the hand and the filled cup. It cracked under the pressure causing me to spill on my way to my table, not once, but, twice. The staff jumped right into action to clean the mess and do so very professionally and courteous.

I will definitely be back...

My favorite is the Super Dave. Having already returned multiple times, I can confidently say I'm addicted.
