I placed an order through the Jersey Mike's App on July 17, 2021 at 3:41 PM; the App said my order would be ready in 10 minutes. I pulled into the parking lot at 3:50 PM, went inside at 3:55 PM. When I arrived at the counter, there were three employees working, making sandwiches. I stood alone at the counter for 10 minutes before another Caucasian lady came in. One of the Caucasian female workers who were making sandwiches, immediately ask her "can I help you?" the lady said I'm here to pick up a Doordash order, the young lady said your order is not ready yet, we'll have it done in a couple of minutes. I stood there another 5 minutes and finally said; “can anyone see me?” The same young lady who assisted the Doordash driver said; “I didn’t know what you wanted” I said; “because you didn’t ask” She proceeded to ask me what did I need and ask me my name; I said; I’m picking up an order” She turned around and picked my sandwich up off the back counter! It was ready from the time I walked in the door! I went home and immediately filed a complaint through the company’s website. On December 17, it will be five (5) months and I have not received a word from anyone from Jersey Mike’s. I don’t know if this incident was racially motivated but I can tell you this; when people of color receive inferior treatment from any establishment, we automatically assume it is! Read moreI've been visiting this location since they opened and have had nothing but great experiences with friendly staff and quick service until today. I hate to write a negative review here but I had asked to speak to a manager while at the restaurant and was told he was busy, and when I called to speak to the manager I was put on hold for 15 minutes before being hung up on.
I placed an order for pick-up as I have done many times before. When I arrived I was given an incomplete order (1 sandwich, but my order was 2 sandwiches, 2 chips and 2 drinks). I was told they would re-make my sandwiches right away. I sat at their pick-up window for over 10 minutes, watching several other customers come and go. I flagged another employee down for an update and she said they were just starting my order.
I've worked in fast food before so I get that things happen, but it's clear that my order was forgotten twice. My frustration as someone who has spent years in customer service is really that no one apologized for the mistake or inconvenience. The manager didn't have time to speak with me. The employees I did interact with gave me an attitude. This has not been my experience with this location in the past so perhaps it was just a bad day, but I am not inclined to go...

So one person decided they just weren't going to get anything. Then, I asked about the different types of bread. They said we don't really have anything. Wait, how are you making subs then? They backtracked (as an employee was bringing out bread) well, we do have bread. I said only white? They said yes. I said oh, you know what, we will come back another day when we actually have a selection. They said oh, we can make them for you. But why would I pay for things I can't get?
