We ordered pick up from JoJo's as a former employee convinced us to give their specialty pizza a try. We offered the steak pizza as well as the Buffalo chicken one. I have to say that maybe it was over-hyped because I didn't feel like I was wowed. Whenever my best friend picks up Ubereats from this location it smells incredibly delicious. The staff are always friendly. Because of all the factors above we had to give this place a try. I think the concept of the pizza topping has great potential and I will say that the dough truly was very very delicious but I just didn't think much of it. Perhaps it was because I barely tasted much flavor on the Buffalo chicken one. I expected to taste buffalo sauce and didn't. The steak speciality pizza was the better one of the two. We ended up having lots of leftover slices. I felt like they tasted better cold the next day but the flavors just weren't distinct. I'm glad I tried them and I will rave about the dough, the service and the pizza concepts but I really wish it had more flavor

Could only find the google provided menu online, so I called to ask some questions and order pick up. Got a calzone- they asked what we wanted in it. I said pepperoni and sausage. He said okay. It only came with sausage and it only came with ranch for dipping. We ordered a salad. We wanted 2 dressings, Greek and Italian. He said he would give us one of each.. But we only received 1. The salad was also whole pieces of carrots and celery. They did remove the olives as requested. total was over $17 for a large salad and a one topping calzone. The receipt wasn’t itemized so I’m not even sure what I was charged for. If there is a next time we are going to keep it simple with a 2 topping pizza..

Met some friends here for dinner. Pleased to find it had three areas, a dining room, bar area, and a game room, depending on what you are looking for. The decor is modest but welcoming. The food was excellent. The thin pizza is what drew us there and it was amazing. We had pasta as well, which was just as good. Plenty of pasta sauce, which I really appreciate. All in all a great experience. Really good food in a place where you can actually talk without having to shout over a bunch of TVs and such.

Jo Jo's Original Pizzeria located at 4336 Monroe St Toledo, Ohio was established in 1957, They have recently undergone extensive renovations, purchased the building next door, added on doubling the square footage, much need new restrooms, added two more pool tables for a total of three and           new juke box. Its setup with the restaurant on one side and a bar on the other, you can order the food on either side.  The service is great, with table service even on the bar side. They are celebrating their 60th Birthday this year with a special celebratory anniversary punch. Jo Jo's makes great pizza at an affordable price. They’re overall prices are very reasonable and they offer a special every day of the week, my favorites are .35¢ tacos and .50 ¢ Wings on Tuesdays and the 10oz New York Strip and Fries on Fridays. They’re pizza style is:  soft, thin crust with plenty of cheese, and a tangy sauce. They have a full service menu and bar. There is always a beer of the month and daily beer specials. Some of their other menu items include; various specialty pizzas; Veggie Pizza, Pizza Burger, Alfredo Pizza, BBQ Chicken Pizza, Five Meat Pizza, Hawaiian Pizza, Taco Pizza and Greek just to name a few and of course you can create your own. They serve Stromboli, Antipasto Salad, Fettuccine, Shrimp, Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Parmesan, Mostaccioli, Lasagna, Stuffed shells and much more. If your passing through Toledo, you have to give Jo Jo’s a try, it’s conveniently located near the I-475...

At first glance, Jo-Jo’s seems like a great pizza option: great online reviews and cheap prices. Yesterday (Saturday) the special was two 12 inch pizzas for $12.00. I ordered a pepperoni as well as a cheese. Upon my arrival to the location 15 mins away from me, I was given the pizzas. I thought they felt pretty light, but I opened the top box and inside had a very thin crust pepperoni pizza—so my assumption was that it was only really light. HOWEVER, upon my arrival back to my home, I opened up the pizzas and the second box (the one under the pepperoni) was COMPLETELY EMPTY. There was nothing in it. Not even grease stains. I called and although they were in shock and understanding, they offered nothing in the form of compensation, they wouldn’t even deliver the pizza to me because they said they did not have anyone in to do so. But of course they CHARGE YOU, for a $2.00 carry out fee (how can you charge a carry out fee when delivery isn’t even an option? Seems like bad business practice for a pizza place!). Anyways, I had to drive back to get my additional pizza, (totaling nearly an hour of driving through the two round trips) to pay full price! Customer service and quality assurance aside, the pizza was definitely not worthy of a 4.2 rating on google. Others that ate it with me attested to it being pretty good but personally I found it to be a glorified little Caesar’s (but maybe I am a bit biased based on the overall experience). Definitely will not go back and would...

Ok so I was driving down the street, and decided to stop here for a bite to eat. It was my first visit here. It was not very busy which was great. Let me get into the pros and cons.

Pros:

Very good food with nice size portions. Great customer service! There was only one waiter (owner perhaps), but he was very friendly and offered other suggestions. He checked on us often, and made sure we didnt need anything. I noticed they had a multitude of daily specials which will bring me back.

Cons:

The place is kind of grungy which gives it a dirty feeling.(It's not dirty) I'm a germaphobe so I almost didnt want to give it a chance. The cloth on the booths need to be done away with or at the very least deep cleaned. It made me feel like something was gonna crawl on me. The vinyl on the table needs to be tossed as well. Could use an update throughout. Very outdated and needs a makeover. I was given a dirty plate for my appetizer, but since it wasnt needed anyway that wasnt a big deal.

Overall, the experience was nice. Would I eat here again? Yes! I just wont sit in the booths. It would have been given 5 stars off of the food and customer service alone. It dropped a star due to the overall appearance...
