I have been to this BDubs twice for dine in and numerous times for take out. The dine in experience was terrible and the take out was generally pretty good, until here recently. A few months ago, we called in an order. the order consisted of boneless wings (half mild, half Parmesan garlic), a large order of fries with the salt and vinegar topping and an order of chips and queso. Whn we picked it up, all of the boxes were labeled correctly, however, when we arrived home, all of the wings were wrong. We were given Thai wings and BBQ wings. We had to go back to the restaurant to get them corrected. They gave us the correct wings but when I asked them to replace the fries, which were now soggy and cold, they scoffed at the idea but offered me a free coke. The cost of a soda was $2. The cost of the fries were roughly $6. So basically, Buffalo Wild Wings is saying that $4 is too high of a price to pay to make sure the customer is happy. Not to mention that it was THEIR fault the order was jacked up and we had to drive back to get it corrected.
The next day, I filled out an online complaint form with, what I thought was corporate. Apparently it was routed to the General Manager of this specific Buffalo Wild Wings. I wont mention his name on here but he called me and was very cordial and apologetic. He said that my family and I could come back in and have "dinner on him" or "take out on him". Whichever we desired. I thanked him for that and he asked me to make sure I tell the waiter/waitress/take out staff that I was on the food credit list to get the meal comped. He also said for me to ask for him as he would like to meet me.
Approximately two weeks later, we decided to take him up on that offer. I called the store and spoke with the General Manager and told him when we were planning to come in. He said he would be working that day and to ask for him. We decided to do a call in order. Same exact order as stated above. When we got there, the girl tried to charge me but I advised we were on the food credit list and I provided the General Managers name. She went to the back and came back with someone else who introduced himself as "Hi I'm the man you spoke with on the phone". This was NOT the man I spoke with. It was obvious. He had no clue why I was there and had me re-tell the story of what happened right there, in front of customers and workers. He also sounded NOTHING like the man I spoke with on the phone. He still wanted to charge me for everything except the wings. I told him that wasn't what I was told on the phone. I finally ended up having to pay $10 for that order after he kept haggling me and trying to get me to pay for something. Since when does "hey come have dinner on me" mean anything other than "hey I'm going to buy you dinner"??. I paid because I was tired of arguing with these people. This man was not the one I spoke with so clearly, there was some sort of game or prank going on.
This restaurant is a complete joke. There is one 5 miles down 249 at Willowbrook and the service and staff are much better there. I implore any of you who read this, DO NOT visit this establishment. The management doesn't care about you and the staff is even worse. Just look at all of the other complaints on this page. As someone else already said, "this place is the definition of why Yelp should offer the option of zero stars".
Oh, the order I called in to pick up that I thought would be free,...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe ordered the red wine listed on the menu at $10. When we got our check, they were all listed at $11.75. We asked the server about the price discrepancy and she took it to the manager. The explanation from the manager was that the price on the menu is for a 6 ounce pour and we were given a 8 ounce pour. Sooo I guess the menu prices are merely a suggestion. We are going to show you what it might cost, but then claim that price is for a smaller portion and we gave you a larger portion. Also, we were 2 people and spent over $100 on dinner. It was have been nice if the manager would have just owned up to over charging us for the wine like an honest person would have done, or admit that the new server made a mistake and we will make it right. We got neither.
I tried to order a couple of IPAās from the menu, they were out of both. I was told they had another option for IPA that was not on the menu so I asked for that. I was served some kind of beer, not an IPA. It tasted very Octoberfest like. Itās very odd to me that a beer and wing place doesnāt know the difference between an IPA and Octoberfest beer.
They first sat us at a table that rocked side to side by a good 8 inches. It wasnāt like the standard table that just needs a coaster shoved under one of the legs to stabilize it. There was some part of the table that was no longer attached to the floor. There is zero chances that no one at the restaurant knows that this table is moments away from falling over. And yet, they still sit people there.
I really like other Buffalo Wild Wings. This one just seems very poorly managed. In addition to the other issues we had, the restaurant just smells a bit musky. I canāt really say that it appears overly dirty, but thereās something just not right...
