I was curious about this restaurant, although I had not heard glowing reviews. I thought I should see for myself. There have multiple other restaurants at this location, all have failed. After experiencing myself, I have concluded that there is no reason to believe this one will be different. I called to place an order, and was told orders must be placed online. So much for "the customer is always right." I almost didn't place the order, but decided to give it a shot. When I arrived, my order wasn't ready because they hadn't seen it in the system. Fortunately, it didn't take long to assemble a salad and a cup of soup, although they predicted online, that time for pick up was estimated 20 minutes. I ordered the watermelon salad, it wasn't nearly as good as the one at Jonathan's on the rub, although the price is the same. The soup was tasty, but was lukewarm. The other thing of note was while the sign on the door when entering the restaurant, stated that the restaurant was cashless, yet there was a tip jar next to the register.
I won't be back, because there are other nearby places with better food. Also, the ownership should understand that culture trumps strategy every time. This is Texas not New York. While there will no doubt come a time, when financial transactions will all be cashless, and all orders will be placed online, that is no the current condition, and many people find comfort in speaking to someone when placing an order. These same people rarely find elitist displays in attitude such as not accepting cash refreshing, especially when there is a tip jar when you have the gall to...
Read moreHow can such a wonderful restaurant have such horrible customer service? Service with a smile? I don't think so. I have never seen so many miserable people in a restaurant. I ran into a former employee of theirs at chipotle and she told me she got fired because she gave the customers too much food. I asked for radishes on my LARGE salad and she gave me two slices, I asked her to put a few more on, and the way she threw my food on there like she was feeding the dog. I have been to many other facilities from the same chain and customer service has NEVER been an issue. Yet EVERY time these employees are rude. Why is it that this one facility is the only one that has rude employees? I recommend a good salad at Panera's on the other side of the parking lot, where they greet you with a smile and always say goodbye to you as you walk out the door. At Panera's they will even pick up your plate for you and throw away your trash. And they do it all with a smile on their face!!! The reason I tip is for customer service so I don't tip when...
Read moreOut of salad???? It's a salad place . We arrived and seen the salad was pretty empty and only one person was helping two other customers through line. A woman walked up after a couple minutes to take our order, when we started to speak her cell phone rang and she ran to the walk in cooler to talk on the phone (hopefully it was about ordering lettuce) the man helping the other customers told us they were cutting more lettuce if we didn't mind waiting a minute. We thought ok, no problem. After a few more minutes a woman comes up (speaks 0 English)to take our order (and at least she tried) while she was looking around for any kind of lettuce without luck, then first lady walked back up to tell us that they were out of lettuce @7pm on a Saturday night. WOW. Went to Panera Bread and...
