CUSTOMER SERVICE - NON-EXISTENT I ordered via the drive thru, a grande nitro sweet cream cold brew. Pulled up to the window, the employee scanned my app, asked if I wanted a straw, I said yes, she then handed me one. Now, what caught my attention was the barista making my drink. I use to work at Starbucks so I know that face, I’m pretty sure the keg ran out and I was getting the last of the nitro cold brew. She handed me the drink, and I went on my way. Oh wait for it; it’s coming. So I drive to my destination, and I look down to take a sip and my drink (picture attached) looks like what you see. I called to speak with someone at the store. A man answered the phone and I explain the situation; regarding how my drink looks like I’ve drank most of it already and I’m just leaving the store. His response: “how long ago did you leave ma’am? I answered with, about 5 minutes ago. He then responded with, “it’s nitro cold brew so the nitro has probably settled and that is what you are left with” I advised him that is NEVER the case any other time I purchase the nitro cold brew. I only get (2) drinks from Starbucks for myself; either the nitro or my 5 shot espresso. I get it so often, I am familiar with the “settling” aspect, but what I was given was the last of the nitro; just be honest! There is literally no coffee in my cup, but I paid almost $7 for it! The employee became agitated (his tone changed) he said: “well what do you want me to do, as there is not much I can do over the phone” I kindly asked to speak with a manager, he advised that a manager was not in, but there was a shift supervisor. I asked when the manager would be in? He then said “for privacy reasons I cannot give out employees schedules” I then said “sir, I’m not asking for the specific start time of the manager neither the name of the manager, all I’m asking is if a manager will be in tomorrow. His response “I can’t answer that” I then said “can I have your name; or will you also decline to give me your name” he then said “I don’t have to give it to you”. I called Starbucks customer service explained the situation and they apologized profusely, and advised that the employee was very wrong. He should have advised when a manager would be in and I was also advised that he could have provided his name. Needless to say, I will continue to give my money to the wolf road location or Rensselaer. I will NOT be back - I promise you! The only reason you will ever see my name come across the screen used for mobile orders is because I order my mother’s coffee in the morning. After this, I should tell her to go back to the market 32 location, she became familiar with the baristas over there when this location was closed for a time due to renovations. Customer Service 101 - please go back and take the course. This employee...
Read moreI ordered a tall pour-over of the Guatemala. I specifically asked if could have drink made as pour-over and not on the clover machine. I was assured I could. When I saw that order was entered as Grande, I repeated the request for a tall.
The sales associate pushed a few buttons, thanked me for the order, and told me the order would be available soon in the pick up area. I walked over to some Acquaintances and began a casual conversation since I thought the pour over would take a few minutes.
A moment later I heard my name called and saw the barista place a Grande cup in the pick up area. Somewhat surprised I walked over, picked it up. The order was clearly made on the clover and not with the pour over equipment which was still packed away.
I stated that I had ordered a tall pour over. The associate told me that I must’ve gotten a bonus rather than offer to correct the order.
Since I was in a bit of a hurry to start my 30 minute drive to work, I left the establishment highly annoyed. I got into my vehicle and drove away very disappointed with the experience.
A few miles down the road after getting on the Northway, I tasted the liquid and realized that it was undrinkable. It tasted like someone had made a drink from the residue of an ashtray—burnt ash—nothing like the expectation of coffee.
When I got to East Greenbush Starbucks I discarded the fluid in cup and ordered a pour over which the clerk was able to produce without any confusion. The coffee tasted quite good. Because that experience was so much more pleasant I was able to get into a much...
Read moreI come in there everyday and your staff is absolutely amazing! And helpful. I especially like a couple of your workers, so I took the time to get there names and would like to share them. Brandy and Maemae they are absolutely friendly and very efficient. I don’t know if there in charge or not, but they should be. I come in a couple different times during the day and I’ve always notice those 2 are just all over the place taking care if customers, cleaning and stocking and still even running around doing all that they do they’re extremely friendly and always look happy and are just absolute hard workers! If they’re not in charge they should be! I love this location everyone works hard and is very pleasant. One thing I do just want to add in is maybe giving front counter the same attention as drive thru. We’re spending money just like them and should get the same speed and service...
