Park Place Bagels — Restaurant in Town of Eastchester

Here we go again so unfortunately this unpleasantness must be recorded so those who read this don’t have to suffer that by wasting their money and more importantly TIME. First off I do not like to express reviews but again an establishment that I hold high in regard and a long relationship with has fallen into the greedy substandard product quality and service drain gutter. Unfortunately this was prompted by the owner or manager lack of concern of my order cause it was just a bagel and butter and not a big ticket Sunday bagel order with all the bells and whistles(I want to reiterate that I am a career food service restaurant and hospitality professional so it takes something really close my mind and point out this ungrateful circumstance). Since this was perpetrated by the person who steers the ship the rest of the crew walks the plank too. LEAD BY EXAMPLE OR BE MADE ONE. So the stars reflect the years of unsatisfactory service and/or quality of food at their location across the street from Lawrence hospital as well. I stopped going there right before the plandemic. But as I stated before I aim to keep the open mind channel tuned in so I decided to give the location in BVille town center a try again since this bagel joint is the only spot around within walking distance to me and transportation services. It’s a crazed fanfare if you go after 8-9am but it’s pleasant and tolerable knowing that the end result is delicious. The muchachos that work the counter are friendly and capable for the volume and pace that is set on Sat&Sun. That being said this individual who took my order and I was there before the main thrust of the rush so my lowly toasted bagel with butter wouldn’t hold up the works. Started the process of my order and then I don’t know where his brain fart happened but it took me ten minutes to get my order and then he just placed on the counter without calling out the order and I was standing just to side of the main counter within eye shot. So finally I ask for order and the dude had just wiped his nose and proceeded to open the wrapped item to check if it was my cinnamon raisin bagel. Yes it was and as indicated looks can be deceiving. The bagels on the little corner carts in Manhattan was a better quality and those bagels are an intestinal nightmare. Raw undercooked or not properly. This is the place for bagels in bronxville. They have a full proof system to get customers served. They have a good high quality ny bagel and so many options for spreads, breakfast sandwiches, as well as a large salad and non breakfast sandwich menu.

I came to pick up a dozen bagels and I got myself an everything bagel w sausage, egg cheese and hashbrown.

Sandwich was perfect and bagel was toasted just right. It was filling and didn’t fall apart upon eating.

I got a dozen bagels of various variety and eating them again today they are just as fresh as yesterday when I bought them. They toast well and have a perfect taste with butter or cream cheese.

Would recommend to grab a quick breakfast sandwich or dozen bagels for the family.

I asked for an everything bagel with cream cheese and jelly. As 4 mins pasted and I realized my bagel wasn’t done yet. I asked for ANOTHER BAGEL TO PURCHASE, the worker gave me the only disappointment and disgusted looked . I’m assuming because I asked last minute but this wasn’t my fault I wa getting a bagel for a friend . And that reaction made me feel like they didn’t want me business. Nor was it welcoming for me to invite someone else . They really need to work on the customer service. Especially in the morning rush. Now I have to travel back to Yonkers to bagel land to feel welcomed and to know my money is going somewhere where my hard earned money...
