I like this place, but to me... I don't personally choose this place or to go here, and it's not because of the usual reasons or the staff or the food, it's the menu... there isnt alot of things i like to eat on it. Granted this is my opinion and not everyone's. The place seems to be very clean and the food is great and my husband and kid loves this place and like to go here. But I personally dont. The menu doesn't have more of a 'selection' on it for people who dont like I think they serve 'Irish' food.. but maybe if they put more American food on it and gave more of a selection and just had some things like Ribye steak or something simple and didnt add things on it that you have to look up in the dictionary what it is before you order I would like to go here more.. the service is okay, everytime we go in there the waiters seem to be like bland and aren't smiley or happy to see you.. the one waitress we had one time would come and go so quickly that we didnt have to much time to order or ask questions and didnt really visit us and ask us if we needed anything. I got coffee and she never filled it up once and never asked if I wanted more coffee.. to me if they check on your coffee and fill it or ask that's really great service. And she seemed to be super annoyed of us and never once smiled or laughed and we tried to joke with her.. we seemed more like an annoyance. she just sat in the back of the restaurant part and talked to another waitress and completely ignored us.. we waited awhile for our check and when we did we got right out of there.. we didnt expect to spend as long as we did there and it was getting late.. but we didnt want to be rude and interrupt her conversation with the other waitress and embarrass her either. that was the last time we were there and it was probably one of the worst experiences I've had there ever.. so to me if I walk through the door of a restaurant and the person who seats us is happy and smiley or even fakes it, it makes me feel more welcome and that the places customer service is on point.. this place everytime we go they seem to never be happy..so this is my opinion. You need have to...
Read moreMy family visits this location probably a couple times a year when we come into town to visit my father. We have never had bad service or a bad experience with the food. However, yesterday was bad enough for me to make this review especially after seeing other people leave reviews that are similar. The restaurant had quite a few people, but I would not consider it incredibly busy or anything. Just a typical restaurant day, nothing crazy. They had quite a bit of wait staff. The hostess that seated us was very kind and sweet and our waitress was also nice. When our waitress came to take our order, I asked for a child’s menu and she said it would be a moment and a hostess would bring it over within a few minutes. A hostess brought the kids menu, and she practically threw it at me. I’m not sure what we did to this girl, but anytime she came to our table. She seemed incredibly annoyed with us, dirty looks and an attitude when I thanked her for the menu and for taking our plates. I can understand if she was having a bad night at work, however it was quite uncomfortable. You could also hear the hostesses/waitresses complaining about the outdoor tables. We order appetizers, our nachos were over baked and had very minimal toppings. I ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich. It was incredibly soggy, and had a horrible sour taste. I couldn’t even lift it off the plate because the bun deteriorated on me. The sauce was not marinara. It was a brown sauce and it had a terrible sour taste. Although our waitress was nice, not once She did she ask how our food was and we all agreed that it’s probably because she could tell the food was bad considering my chicken had one bite out of it, and the bun was disheveled on another plate. I’m not one to go out of my way and complain, however had she asked I would’ve been honest. $16 for a premade chicken patty that tasted sour, and was not edible. The $18 mac and cheese my daughter got could hardly be considered Mac and cheese. It was basically wet noodles with bread crumbs smothering it. Our bill was $125 for food that was less...
Read moreTLDR: Stick to bottled beer, or taste anything before you get a draft beer, but food was great!
Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Restaurant wasn't very busy at all and we were seated right away, a party of two. The server was very good for our initial drink and food order, but pretty much disappeared after our food was delivered. The food was great, BUT we had multiple issues with beers coming from the bar. It seems pretty obvious that they do not clean or replace their tap lines very often. Ordered a K2 Winter Warmer which was good. The Saranac that I ordered, tasted thin and more like Dr. Pepper than beer, so I brought it up to the bar myself and exchanged it for a Genny Bock. The bar staff mentioned that there was an issue with the CO2 system on that Saranac keg and changed out the beer no problems. The Bock, tasted like it was mixed with Genny's Ruby Red Kolsch! Strike two! Brought that back and the bar staff apologized again and mentioned that they had the Cran Orange Kelbier on that tap a while back and knew that the flavor was off. They probably could have mentioned that before I ordered, but no. Replaced that Genny with another K2 since that was a know quantity. Server came back later after the first two beers were done and asked if we wanted another round, but didn't ask what we wanted. So another defective Saranac and a Bock came back. Went back to the bar and exchanged out Saranac for another K2 and my girlfriend had the Bock, which she...
