Was passing by from out of town truck driving. Had some time to kill and was in the mall shopping. I came across this place and Iām from SC so we donāt have a place like this. I was asking a bunch of questions about their menu bc I was un familiar with their products. Like whatās a cookie chiller and what flavor is the cookie they use in it and etc. While asking questions I made sure to stay out of the way while they where making other drinks and helping other people while deciding. After I ordered a coffee it was $9 and I was shocked but paid. There where 2 girls working behind the counter. Didnāt ask their names so I will describe what I can. (1)a blonde younger girl with tattoos and a (2) blonde older looking girl with acne. Was also 1 guy working with bigger puffy dark hair. 3/18/2022 @ 6:50pm. Along with the customers they where also 2 girls that I assumed worked there but wasnāt actually working that day seemed they where off and getting coffee and schedule. They where going in and out back room and laughing and caring on. After receiving and sitting with my white chocolate mocha iced coffee. I started thinking $9 is too much. The coffee shop was empty at this point and I was sitting at the table with my coffee relaxing. One of the girls not working that day came out back and said is this your iced coffee sir. I said no, I have mine already but thank you. She ask the main girl (2) who looked like the team leader and she said thatās the guys coffee at table. The girl replied, I asked him and he said itās not his. The main girl(2) she then replied idk he is so WEIRD. After that rude comment I was very disappointed and wonder what I did to deserve such hatred. This place needs to teach their employees about core values and how to treat customers. Sorry, not sorry for asking questions and having no clue about your establishment. You have failed at humanity by being a decent human being to one another. God says love your neighbor as yourself. If your not religious you should at least treat people how u want to be treated. After realizing that the girl that rung me up (2)charged me for 2 coffees then it all made sense why it was $9. It was the same girl that called me weird also. After getting a refund from the guy I told him Iām sorry for being so WEIRD out loud for her to know I heard her and didnāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor over 10 years I've been treating myself to a white chocolate caramel cookie chiller when i go to the mall. Can't get enough. I always loved saving up my full punch cards for the perfect time and felt so happy to trade them in for my yummy drink š in the last 6ish+ months, this location is grinding my gears. I can't justify coming anymore. They stopped the punch cards and seemed to switch to an app based reward system. That lasted for no time at all and they started saying "we don't have a scanner to scan the QR code." Mmk. It should be noted i follow the main Gloria Jeans account on social media, which is how i found out about the app. That is also how I saw posts of the limited time drinks like confetti chiller, etc. Unfortunately, this location is above that and consistently opts to not offer these drinks. It seems they feel they don't have to try that hard, because the coffee is good and it's the only coffee place in the mall so people will come. It's true, sadly. I love the coffee but I just can't justify not getting rewards. And if I'm honest, its also the principle of the thing - why cant they just be consistent with their "mother company," or whatever you want to call it?! If I could give just this particular store's business practices zero...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe girls here are always so rude. Before I kind of just shrugged it off as them having a bad day, but this has been happening the last 5 times I've came here.... Today a girl got my change wrong and kindly told her that she short me two dollars. She gave me the two dollars back but threw it at me rather than just handing it to me then proceeded to roll her eyes and walk away. Then I noticed she got my order wrong as well. I went back up to the counter and waited, which it took a hot moment for someone to notice me because she and her other two co-workers were busy gossiping about a girl they knew. When someone finally did notice me, I explained my order was wrong. One of the other girls looked at me and went "oh... okay" in a rude tone. Got me my the food item I actually ordered, shoved it towards me and went back to gossiping. I work retail myself and I know that is not how you treat people as much as you want to somedays.... By no means did I expect them to bend over backwards for me, but a simple and genuine I'm sorry would have been nice. If you don't like working a job where you have to provide customer service maybe don't work there and find something less customer...
