While visiting the area we decided to try pizza at Nick’s. We read some favorable reviews and they had a good star rating. I built my own pizza; cheese with five toppings. I will say the pizza was pretty good, fresh toppings. Could’ve used more sauce, but otherwise a tasty pizza experience.

CON: After paying for the pizza I realized that the cost seemed too high. The menu available online says the pizza comes in one size (12inch) and costs $12 for a cheese pizza and $2 for each topping. So I was expecting to pay $24 plus tax..,, but was charged $39.40!!!

When I asked about this with the very nice young man at the counter, he showed me the paper menu in the restaurant which had a very different breakdown of pizza sizes and prices and also different price for the toppings!! I asked the young man if they could honor the price that is listed on THEIR website! He checked with the manager who was only standing a few feet away from me, who said I’m too busy I don’t have time to deal with that!! What kind of customer service is that?! He simply just needed to tell the young man to refund the prior charge and honor the amount reflected in their online menu. He really didn’t need to interact with me at all, just give permission for the price change. As a warning be VERY careful when ordering here, and do NOT trust the online menu it is not up to date! Good luck with management if you have any issues to...

I've been to my fair share of terrible Italian restaurants, but this one takes the cake. We were greeted kindly by the servers in the front working the pizza oven, so we expected that the rest of the service would be similar. We were wrong. We were seated by a waiter who proceeded to leave us unattended for a while before even offering us water. Later when he finally came around we asked for water and told him that we were ready to order, he took out his note pad and mid-sentence of me ordering he walked away with no explanation. He then came back and we finally ordered. The food took two hours to arrive. We were watching everyone around us get their food before us, even parties that had been seated after us. We are convinced that they forgot about our food because after an hour and 45 minutes, we asked our waiter where our food was, and saw him inputting something on the computer, then he said it would be 5 more minutes, which of course turned into 15 minutes. But if this doesn't convince you not to go, then the food will. Usually after waiting 2 hours for food you can't wait to finish it, but two of us couldn't even finish our pastas. It honestly tasted like store bought pasta, and you are better off buying Chef Boyardee sauce than eating here. They tried to compensate us with a variety of desserts, but they were also incredibly underwhelming. I hate that we each had to pay upwards of...

First and foremost I wish to say I use to love Mr nicks not sure if due to covid or what but there food doesn't taste as as and the customer service is the worse I've ever experienced. I placed order it didn't come the way we instructed for it to come first off thrn when I went to bite a piece of hair was in my pizza so we did what any normal customer woukd do called ask for refund he asked to replace the pizza however at this point I don't don't to eat the food finding hair in it right ? Instead of giving us back the money and apologizing the man working decided to tell me how people who live where I live always complaining what does where I live have to do with the hair found in my pizza?? Anyway he refused to come get the food to even see what we are saying about we brought he pizza back ourselves and didn't even ask for refund at this point we weren't satisfied so once leaving we called store back told them they lost customers do u know what he accused me of doing ? Putting my own hair in the food lol now why would we do that? We gained nothing from this experience no food nor money back so what was the point of us putting hair into the food ? Not good to make accusations of that nature towards customers because hair somehow was found in our food they should be ashamed of themselves for even saying something so terrible I suggest...

We enjoyed Mr. Nick's: the food was excellent, the surroundings were very pleasant, but, more than anything else, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were getting together with friends we hadn't seen in a while, and some of our party had trouble deciding what to order from the extensive menu. None of that was a problem for our waiter, who was helpful in making suggestions, and made us know that we were welcome to converse and catch up. The variety offered on the menu meant everyone could find something to enjoy. One of our party had an appetizer and a salad (mussels for an appetizer, which were nicely prepared), one had the Sicilian Ziti, which was quite good, another had a wrap, which was very tasty, and one had a pasta dish, which, judging by the gusto with which he enjoyed his dish, really hit the spot. Portions were ample, with a couple of members of our party taking home "doggy bags". People came in and out picking up their orders, and it appeared that no one is a stranger, with a pleasant greeting for all. Altogether, Mr. Nick's is a good choice for a casual meal thoughtfully and lovingly prepared in a comfortable atmosphere.

Little known secret, Mr. Nick’s Brick Oven Pizza in Tarrytown has been our favorite down-county pizza spot for years. We never posted about it because it was a place for us to escape during crazy times. Selfishly, we wanted to keep it ours. Nick has since transformed our favorite down-county pizza spot into the most amazing Italian restaurant (still serving awesome pizza). We spent Christmas Eve there tonight with Nick and his beautiful family. I can keep it secret no more — the ambiance is beyond beautiful, the food is fantastic, the drinks devine, and the service is top notch. When you’re there you’re treated like family. For all my Westchester and Rockland friends and beyond, this is the place you need to try! ❤️🥂🥰
