terrible service, I place an order by phone today Oct 24 at 4.20 pm ... 2 sancochos, a Breaded Chicken Breast and a Grilled Flank Steak, and we arrived to pick up the order at 5.10 pm we did not have a pleasant experience at all, the people who serve on the counter do not have the slightest knowledge of what they do, they have not organization or common sense at all. They fill the plastic bags with the orders and do not even call for for the customer, they leave the orders over the counter and many customers waiting for an order that is cooling on the counter more than 15 minutes When was my turn the person in charge of the front counter, tied the bags without checking if my order was complete and gave it to me saying everything is there complete, well what a surprise and very disgusted when I got home and my order was incomplete, my husband was left without his dinner tonight. The Grilled Flank Steak was missing from the order. Well after calling many times and they answe was “to try again in half an hour because they were very busy” without giving me the opportunity to speak. After more the 45 minutesI I was finally able to be heard and when I asked for the manager to make a claim I was treated in a very bad way, the manager told me that he was very sorry but WE had to understand that they were short staffed and very busy and that was the cause of the mistake. So by all Means in the end, the client must be understand them, despite having run out of dinner due to an error made by the person in charge of packing the orders. I must mention that this is not the first time it has happened because that happened my husband on other occasions and has always felt frustrated by the poor organization of the people who attend the counter and because they don’t speak English at all. My wake-up call is to the people who run the Hempstead restaurant and who should ask their servers to give better customer service and to show more respect and care with orders before delivering them to...

They never offered us water or asked for our drink preference. We witness them asking everyone else around us. We ate a complete meal not one person came up to us. At the end of our meal we asked for a manager. We explained that we never received a beverage let alone was even asked if we wanted one. We explained that we felt unwanted and unwelcome.. The manager shrug her shoulders and still didn’t offer us water. She walked away and another manager came over we explained the situation again. He then only asked if we wanted water. Read moreThis place has been going downhill for years. They don’t have set prices, and there are no menus online. The only menu I found was from 2020 on their Instagram, and now they’re charging three times the price for the same items. On top of that, the staff is incredibly rude. I called to place a pickup order for a small soup, and the person on the phone told me I had to order it in person. I tried to explain that my time is limited since I’d be coming on my lunch break, but she didn’t care and repeated that I had to order in person.
I’ve ordered small soups ahead of time before, so I don’t understand why this is suddenly an issue. It’s extremely inconvenient because now I’d have to wait to place the order when I get there, and if there are other people ahead of me, I’d waste even more time.
