I was first introduced to Chilean food by wife who is (you guessed it) Chilean. I myself come Puerto Rican decent. She took me to the San Antonio Bakery that was in Astoria. The first taste of there amazing churrasco I was instantly hooked. All there food is amazing and people are very friendly. I was said to hear the one in Astoria closed down. But then was happy to here there was another one in valley stream and it's the same owners so I'm getting the same quality of food. Please try everything when you can when you come here.

This place is an absolute gem! The empanadas are incredibly delicious—flaky, perfectly baked, and packed with rich, savory fillings. Every bite is bursting with authentic Chilean flavors! And the pisco sour? Hands down, the best I’ve ever had—smooth, balanced, and refreshingly tangy. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the service is top-notch. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience with amazing Chilean cuisine, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

5 stars for the food. 1 star for service. We traveled 1 hour to enjoy this food 2 or 3 times a year. Every time the service is just so bad. 2 sundays ago the waitress forgot my husband's meal and didn't offer us drinks when we ordered the food. She didn't even notice that I was the only one eating at the table while my husband was having bread for lunch. We told her, absolutely no apologies. Improving the service will give this place 10 stars.

We were a party of six on a Saturday evening for dinner. It was to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I called ahead to make a reservation. Explained my daughter could not eat gluten and asked if I could bring gluten-free cup cakes for after the meal. The owner said that would be fine. We each had a lovely dinner. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The restaurant was all decorated for Christmas, which made the event even more festive. When the meal was over, the staff plated the cupcakes beautifully lit the candles I'd brought and sang Happy Birthday with musical accompaniment. It was so enthusiastic that the whole restaurant joined in. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. The sangria we ordered was also excellent. San Antonio Bakery is a terrific restuto have in...

Wow shocked about this place. First start off that no one speaks english. I’m an adopted Chilean and I chose to come here bc the family likes to celebrate my heritage. No one understood wine bottle, the menu is not the same as online, lack explaining what is in dishes, there is no flavor. We had plain chicken & steak. I cook better w seasoning. Dessert was the worst. We got old dried up breaking apart pastries. A woman lied to us saying it was choc and we go home, take a bite of this “chocolate” custard and it was all caramel & tough. I am appalled $50 in bakery $200 dinner there it was absolute the worst dinner I have ever had in my life & humiliated as I want people to know about Chilean food.

We used to come here before covid but now we will never return.

Awesome...

Went in with my wife and sister and not one staff member was there. They were in and out without even acknowledging any of us. We was told to go there and try a cake that had fruit. After 8 minutes the lady asked us if we needed help but had a nasty attitude. Now maybe they were understaffed that day, not sure. But that was not what I expected. So I asked for the cake and got a response with attitude saying no they don't have that. Called the person who told me to pick it up in front of her and told her what she said. Then said on the phone that I would share my experience there and state how uncomfortable I felt. When she heard that she quickly became helpful but it was too late. I picked up 2 cakes and left. Horrible service. I should have gotten an...
