Shing Wong Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I’m going on the lam here to say I have never been inconvenienced or embarrassed ever in my life getting Chinese food from a local pick up spot. So on a Wednesday evening after long day work me and the wife decided to go get some Chinese food so that we can eat in peace. We didn’t have time to cook so we placed the order over the phone and upon arriving there, they went to tender my transaction and charge me whatever the price was of the food and then I use Apple Pay And basically from there the transaction went through, but they told me on their end that it was processed. They don’t see any history of the transaction going through, but the thing went off on Apple Pay and they clearly saw the transaction through my bank account. The funds were taken out for the Chinese food so they didn’t want to release the food or give me back a cash refund and no this wasn’t some kind of fraud or anything like that. They wouldn’t give me nothing. They wouldn’t help me they were disgruntled very unprofessional so I eventually had to call 911 and get the cops involved because I’m like I’m ordering food I’m traveling and my kids are hungry. What the hell is going on like you have to take care of this I’m a customer you know mine you they weren’t making me feel reassured at all. They were just basically say no no you didn’t pay. It doesn’t show on there and this is very unprofessional. It’s not good customer service you know I don’t care if a small woman pop business or big corporation you have to always honor the customer especially want to treat you right with respect and paid in full so the cops clearly showed to the Workers that yes it was taken out he, the cop verified it to Apple Pay and also to my bank statement, so he was like this isn’t some kind of fraud scam I can verify that was taken out through Apple Pay and the end of the bank account as well and he still didn’t wanna give me my money or basically give me the food so the cops said just dispute the charges with your bank and he told the Chinese restaurant that if it shows up later, you guys can just cancel it and refund back his moneywhich is exactly what happened once we got in the car nobody went on there. They got the transaction and they refund me back my money so it was a system error and they just trying to help. They were very unprofessional. I will never go there and support them ever again very unprofessional people, and they weren’t...

I am so disappointed my friends and I concerning the broccoli with fried rice couple days ago, I spent close to $58.00 in food and still give the guy more than $3.00 in tips but yet , both times I got disappointing food, broccoli 🥦 so soft, shirmp not tasty at all , then the other person throw there food out , after I got sick from the food just because I told them they have to do the order over.The guy always get good tip and before I had no complain I don’t know why there food was so mess up recently but I was told never to buy anything again from there because they can’t be trusted.This was the 2nd time they mess up on food can’t be a 3rd now am still not feeling good from there food.So , So disappointed , ppl work hard for there money and you try to trust out side food because you are rushing to work and when you get disappointing food you wonder...

The food here is Hit or Miss lately, and I'm totally sick of it... Today the food was simply horrible. Dried out pork and loaded with plenty of extra MSG. I'm wondering if today's lunch special is yesterday's left overs? I can't see spending good money only to HOPE the food this time will be OK.

It is a shame, Shing Wong used to be the best around. As for my last visit, I wouldn't give that to a dog. Sorry, Shing Wong..... You just lost my business.
