From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the elegant ambiance--reminiscent of a high-end steakhouse. The atmosphere was sophisticated, with guests dressed in their finest attire, setting a classy yet welcoming tone. We originally came in just to have a drink, and though the bar was full, we were lucky enough to snag a high-top table nearby. It quickly became clear why the bar was packed--the drinks were nothing short of exceptional. I ordered the Gosh Rider, while my partner opted for a classic Old Fashioned. As if that wasn't enough, we were offered a special wine selection by the owner, and it was an absolute delight.

To complement our drinks, we shared a platter of cheese, prosciutto, and fig--a perfect 10/10. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, making it an unforgettable pairing with our drinks.

But the most memorable part of the evening came at the end. The owner surprised us with a dessert called Perla's de Balsámico. It was a sweet revelation--gelato from northern Italy, a treat the owner had discovered during a trip and fell so deeply in love with that he had to bring it here. It was a beautiful way to end the night, and honestly, everyone should try it.

I discovered this gem last evening, on my 70th birthday, after a long dusk hike at nearby Target Rock National Wildlife Refuge ..... alone, tired, and needing a real sanctuary ( friends had gathered wit me the previous Saturday ) ........ Jonathan's met all my needs abundantly ! The young servers are what impressed me the most : Angel and Gabriella, genuine angels, treated my as if finding their long lost uncle ..... one could not hope for more gentle, considerate and genuinely caring company .......... Now, the details : 1) Jonathan's seating is comfortably spaced, with padded , back friendly chairs 2) Lighting is soft but perfect for reading . 3) My Pollo Albicocca e Pancetta ( chicken with apricot sauce ) was cooked to perfection and a delicious change of pace . 4) The vanilla bean dessert was something between between flan and gelato ( I've forgotten the name !) and deliciously served with a wealth of berries ; you will not be disappointed by the wealth of unique choices 5) The lavatory was well designed and immaculate ........... This really being a perfect time of year for nature walks, with Great Horned Owls breeding nearby, it's a comfort to have discovered this welcoming retreat . What more can I say ? Went here with my family, my brother has very severe food allergies. We notified the waitress, Rachel, of these allergies, and made clear that he could not have cheese on the burger or butter on the bun he ordered. She assured us the food would be okay. After waiting an hour for our food, the burger was delivered with cheese. We sent it back to the kitchen and she offered us pasta with butter to hold him over until the new burger would be ready. Again, he is allergic to dairy. We expressed our concern to her as she was not understanding the severity of his deadly food allergies. The manager Alex, who was nice and helpful from the beginning, stepped in and made sure my brothers food was made without contamination and let us know that he would give us dessert on the house, a very nice gesture. But our waitress again did not pay attention to us and we ended up waiting another 30 mins and decided not to order dessert as we had been sitting there for over 2 hours. The food was good, but the wait was extremely long, and it could have ended in a hospital becuase of their inability to understand and accommodate...
