Thai Thai Villa — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

If you plan on dining in with little kids, please save yourself from humiliation!!!!

This place doesnt even deserve any stars. Food wasnt tasty and it was too bland. Veggies were raw and very hard. Their pho sucked! No flavor what so ever! Bland meat! Very sweet noodles.

Also we waited at our table for quite some time before we had a waitress come attend us. No one made eye contact to come attend us.

Service was beyond horrible. I went with another couple and my husband and two kids. I had my 2 year toddler with me who was having a tantrum and the older Caucasian man walked over and said “shhh!!!!!” to my baby girl in front of me and everyone else who was dining in.

It was already a stressful and embarrassing moment for my husband and i dealing with our toddler and the owner of the store humiliated us even more in front of everyone there!

We felt that we were not wanted in that restaurant. On our way out the door, the other couple who were with us overheard that same guy saying “Finally! They asked for the check.”

This guy is probably the owner of the store, we were not sure. We asked for the manager to our waitress but she said they were in the back somewhere. We also expressed our concerns to our waitress how Rude that older man was but she didnt say much to us. She could of gotten him to apologize to us but she said nothing really.

If this isnt a family restaurant they should address it on the outside of their restaurant instead of coming to our children and shhhing them like this! My baby girl felt scared when he got so close to her like that shhhing her!

Would not ever recommend for a Family to go there especially if you have kids!!! Note they have only one high chair for only 1 child! Which is weird to me because almost a lot of restaurant have a few high chairs for babies or toddlers. Made sense because in a way they are unwelcoming to kids!

First off their food is very good but I had one of the worst customer service experiences of any restaurant today just now. I ordered for pickup on GrubHub. First pain point, 18% tip automatically got charged on a order pickup. I’m not opposed to tipping but it being automatically added is just sleazy. Regardless, I paid the tip even though it was an order I had to drive & pickup without being served but didn’t mind much. What bothered me more is when the order said ready to pickup, I went up to the counter and introduced myself while the person literally standing 2 feet away from me ignored me without saying a word. A simple “we’ll be with you soon” or any acknowledgment would have sufficed but not a word. Just me trying to say hello multiple times with no acknowledgment or help for several minutes. I then saw my food sitting on the counter in a bag and decided to take it (was already paid for plus that tip). As soon as I picked it up, a worker snaps at me for not speaking to them first. They also forgot to add utensils which was specifically in the order instructions & they seemed annoyed when I asked for some plastic forks. It took me a little more time to give this restaurant a review than it should. Thai Thai Villa is an absolute gem and easily the best Thai restaurant on Long Island I have tried! The servers are always super nice, make the experience feel just like home. It's a wonderful spot for both family dinners and date nights.
