Me and my other half wanted a decent lunch, so we chose Wendy's. It was extremely busy, with a school bus of kids ordering in front of us. Things seemed to be moving smoothly and staff seemed up to the crowd. We ordered our food A medium combo classic Asiago club, no lettuce or tomato, fries and a barq's root beer. I had biggie bag with a junior bacon cheeseburger, fries, 4 nuggets with bbq sauce, a small chocolate frosty and a small chili. We also ordered a medium chocolate frosty, a Jr bacon cheeseburger plain and a small vanilla frosty. We waited at the counter and watched the young lady fill our order. While she was in the process, we noticed she was putting the wrong food on our tray. We were scolded and told to wait until she was done filling our order and then we could tell her if there was a problem. I told her yes Ma'am when I should've asked for the manager because of her attitude. She had started putting the next order on our tray. It was another biggie bag, so we had an extra sandwich, fry, nugget and frosty on our tray. Trying to get her to understand this was near impossible and she had the receipt right in front of her. I managed to make her understand there was an extra sandwich and frosty, but she kept interrupting me and being insistent about the rest before I could tell her about the extra nugget and fry, so I agreed and took the food. As we were walking away we noticed she forgot to give us our drink cup. We managed to get our cup and then also realized there was no chili. Turns out the cashier never heard me order it. So we placed an order for it, since there was a lull in the crowd; but there wasn't A lull in the girl's attitude as she was quite snippety. All I can tell you is this was Thursday March 2 at 1230pm, I didn't get her name and won't describe her because people will say I'm targeting a certain group. What I will say is, had she just stopped and listened to us, we would've left with no errors. By the way, we ordered the food, doesn't she think we know what we are talking about? It's frustrating to say the least. Thanks for the free food. You better discipline this employee, who knows how much other food she has given away. This was at the South Transit rd location in Lockport. The food was good, but I doubt we will go back....
Read moreMy family and I always enjoy Wendy's hamburgers. But lately at the Lockport Wendy's on S. Transit the service, the atmosphere as well as presentation of the food have been way below average. After today what I experienced I'm going to have to go somewhere else to enjoy my hamburgers with my family. After ordering through a mobile app order I went up to the restaurant to receive my food when I entered the restaurant there was a line of people I went to the area where the mobile app pick up is. The lady at the counter asked me if I had a mobile pick up. I gave her my name & pickup order. She looked into the bag & handed me a sandwich. I look into the sandwich which was wrong & explain to her this is not part of my order. She then rewrapped the sandwich and place it into another mobile app orders bag. At that time we found out that she gave our order away and had to have our order remade at which time cause chaos within the restaurant. I then explained to the lady picking up the other mobile app order that I had my hands on the sandwich. She ask the lady behind the counter to please remake the order. The women behind the counter told the pick up lady he didn't have his hands on the food. Which everyone in line saw that I did & decided wisely to leave Wendy's & go somewhere else to eat lunch. Read moreWhat happened to this place? It wasn't the best but this Wendy's has become awful. Just the other day when I went, it was a disaster. Despite there being only 4 customers in the building and 0 in line, I had to wait 4 minutes for someone to take my order at the register. It may have been a nearby waiting customer or an employee themselves, but someone close by bore the stench of drugs, they smelled horrible. Once someone finally did come to the register to take my order, I went to the bathroom afterwards to wash my hands. In the stall, pants down, was an employee using the toilet, stall door wide open, no attempt to close it. It was disgusting. I couldn't believe an employee acted in this manner. I checked later before I left the building, the lock to the stall was not broken and completely functional. Once I finally got my food, the drink machine was broken and not working properly, the flavors were horrible and all out of whack. I got something to go via the mobile app using my rewards, and when I approached the counter, the employee there was very rude and also bore a foul odor. I'm not sure what happened to this Wendy's but now it is like a savage animal house. There is a Burger King right across the street at a McDonald's just up the road, so this Wendy's isn't even the only fast food option within walking distance, spare yourself...
