Starbucks — Restaurant in Town of Malta

“Smug, immature customer service” My daughter ordered a drink which we got after a reasonable time. However, we also ordered a danish that didn’t come. After “10” minutes I asked one of the young ladies who was desperately trying to avoid eye contact with customers if she knew the status of the food. She looked put out, but checked, came back and said. It was next. She then proceeded to complain about me to several of her peers. I waited a few more minutes before going back to the original sales person to get an update. He then informed me apologetically that they actually were sold out of the item we had ordered. At this point I was beyond frustrated. I asked for the manager. The apologetic cashier said that there was no manager today (Saturday Labor day weekend.), but they had a stand in. The stand in manager apologized and gave me two other danishes. He did the right thing, but as he was doing so the same smug young lady (long light brown hair) passed by and I tossed both danishes on the counter and walked out. Just...

We love Starbucks and are regular customers. However. this is by FAR the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. You are better off driving to Saratoga or Clifton Park, or going to one of the local coffee roasters in Malta.

The people who work here seem like they have never been trained on how to make any drinks or use any of the machines. Over the last year we kept hoping it would improve, but it really hasn't. We still wait up to 15 minutes for a chai latte. I have seen customers just give up and walk away before their order is completed.

This is really embarrassing for Starbucks. I'm not sure if these people are actually trained baristas, or if they are just Price Chopper cashiers who are on coffee duty for the day. Either way, we are giving up on this location and just going to a local shop across the street from the supermarket (I think it's called the Spot but I can't remember).

This is the second day in a row I have gone to this Starbucks and both times the service was not kind. A manager yelled at me yesterday when there was confusion with my order. Today when going through the drive through they made a mistake with my order. My husband went back in to have the order corrected and they dumped out half my drink and put onto the cold foam that was missing. The drink was curdled and disgusting. This is not my first time I have been to this Starbucks specifically and they have made the order wrong. I do not recommend this Starbucks as of recent.
