Subway is a quality franchise, but this particular Branch is lacking in every aspect of the food service industry. The staff is grossly incompetent, taking forever to comprehend or make even simple orders. While making the sandwiches unless you pester them to continue to add components theyāll give you stingy portions, no doubt at the managementās direction that somehow saving 3 slices of tomato is going to affect the profit margin. Also for a franchise whose slogan is āEat Freshā their breads and vegetables are often dry and obvious left over from the day before.
My personal nail in the coffin for this particular branch occurred on the evening of 11/25/09. I went in and ordered a meatball sub, the young girl behind the counter made light of how plain a choice that was, but thereās nothing wrong with that, trying to make small talk and failing is nothing a customer should get in a twist over. It was when she mentioned that she was told by her doctor that she should not go to work(because of contagious disease like flu symptoms) but was bored and wanted to come in anyway and that her manager was OK with this is what I took issue with. The person preparing my food explaining that she was contagious and that it was ok with her manager that she was still coming in is unacceptable to me. I should really have called the department of health but instead all I did was throw out the sub. In retrospect the girl didnāt give me a receipt either so I canāt complain and get a free sub but at this point I donāt want a free sub from them. Iām never going back to...

I was in the store for maybe 10 minutes placing my order and literally had sweat dripping off me it was so hot.
