Foodies Cafe — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

I had the pleasure of working with Foodies Catering for a last-minute event, and they truly exceeded all my expectations. My friend and I were planning a girls' brunch in West Hempstead, New York, on Sunday, August 18th, 2024. Everything was going smoothly until the morning of Friday, August 16th, when our original caterer abruptly canceled on us. With the brunch just two days away, we were in a complete panic.

Thankfully, a friend of mine came to the rescue by searching for caterers on Instagram. She sent me four options, and after some frustrating experiences with the first two, I reached out to Foodies. Eliscia, the event coordinator, immediately picked up the call, and from that moment, I knew we were in good hands. She quickly checked her availability and, despite the short notice, reassured us that she would make it work.

Eliscia took the time to understand our original menu and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Her dedication to ensuring our event was a success was nothing short of amazing. When the food arrived, it was clear that she had delivered on her promise—and then some.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh, and I later heard that the chef prepared everything from scratch that very morning. Our menu included chicken and waffles, grilled chicken, citrus salmon, shrimp and grits, grilled vegetables, and more. Every bite was packed with flavor, and our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious everything was.

Rich catered an outdoor 65th birthday party with sandwiches and salads for my husband. I was frantic trying to figure out how to make sure my vegan and gluten-free guests had options that were filling and delicious, and he took all that stress right off my shoulders. Rich catered a party for us that had many food critics in attendance. Everyone was in love with the food so we all had seconds and thirds. Delicious top quality food at very reasonable prices.
