Giavano's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Queensbury

Ordered a pizza and boneless wings it got delivered and opened the pizza box and the first thing I saw was very undercooked pizza, then I bit into one boneless wing and it was undercooked and it made me lose my appetite! So my fiancé called and complained and the man said we couldn't have our money back he was refusing and said he could only send us new food and hung up the phone. So my fiancé called back 1 minute later and he said no we can't have our money back again because he already put the new pizza in the oven. (I'm sorry but you can't make a pizza that fast) so my fiancé took the food and drove it back to the store and the man was yelling and swearing at my fiancé told him no it's already sent out and to get out of the store so I called the man up and he yelled in my ear and swore at me ! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE ! This is so UNPROFESSIONAL AND NO WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS! No matter how frustrated you are if a customer isn't happy make them happy! Remember the customer is always right! This store doesn't even deserve 1 star in my book, I personally think this store should be shut down if you don't know how to run a business and treat customers...

Giving 2 stars instead of one because usually i have a good experience and have given good reviews before. This was an odd occurence. I called for a delivery on march 15th. Ordered something different than usual. The receipt says server was Mike F. I said a large buffalo chicken pizza. The pizza arrived and i gave a generous tip of $9, as i always do. Opened the pizza and could tell instantly it was BBQ not buffalo. The receipt said large crazy chicken pizza. I just thought they called buffalo chicken something funny because i had never heard of crazy chicken. So i call the store to ask about the confusion. No worries, sh**t happens. The man who answered claimed "i was the one who took the order and you said crazy chicken". I was caught off guard because i definitly did not say "crazy chicken" considering it was title i was aware of. So i said "no i didnt". Then he said "yes you did". It was wierd. So i awkwardly said "ok". To which he replied by hanging up on me. It was just totally out of the normal experience i have at Giavanos. I like Giavanos, whoever Mike...

Consistently good pizza and chicken wings. Giavanos makes chicken wings like they do in western ny. Crispy! You don’t even have to ask for them that way. Their pizza, it’s better than anything I’ve tried around this area. I’m sure most people think…”pizza is pizza” but it does matter and it is not all created equal. Giavanos has a light sweet fresh tomato sauce, I don’t know if it’s from a can or they make it fresh but it’s tasty. The cheese is not greasy, which means it’s a good quality. The dough is simple, no frills but incredibly satisfying, just a little crunch. And you really know it’s good pizza, when you can eat it cold, and it still tastes freaking delicious. Not too thin not too thick, just the right amount of all the components. Perfect pizza. They do it right.
