Ordered from the Domino's app and it gave an estimate of 25 - 30 min. Called at the 50 min mark because the app reported as delivered, but was not really delivered. Was told to hold as soon as the phone was answered and placed on the counter listening to other patrons in the store. After about 4 minutes, of no one coming back to the phone, I hung up to answer my other line. The delivery guy was here, but didn't want to leave his car saying there was no parking if I could come out. Btw there was in fact plenty of parking and we have a driveway delivery cars always pull into that was empty. After asking him to please come to the door, he said he was in a rush and had other deliveries. I reminded him I ordered delivery, and would like it fully delivered and he cursed under his breath. Decided to go as he called me twice more on my way down because he was in a rush. I accepted the pizza, signed the receipt not leaving a tip, and left a note regarding how late it was and he did not bring it to the door like any other delivery has in the past, including Domino's. This annoyed him more since he had other deliveries. The pizza was cold. Called the store to speak to the manager and he made excuses for the driver saying that he is not allowed to come to the door, all customers meet at the car. I corrected him from MY experience and that I've not seen a Dominos food truck in this area ever. He also said their times are usually about an hour which they tell people when they call, but it cannot be reflected in the app. This only goes to show they must falsely say on their side the order has been delivered on a regular basis, I'm sure I'm not the only one, especially from the reviews. I will never order or step foot in this Dominos. Anyone who has a positive review is likely a relative or friend.
Also called back after writing this review and spoke to the manager who sounded different this time since apparently the first person I spoke to wasn't really a manager. The guy who answered the phone gave it to another coworker probably so they could cover for each other. Advice, if you call just ask for the manager and don't say why you...
Read moreOriginally I gave this location a 5 star but since then it has changed drastically. The food was still good but I have a huge problem with the work staff.
First, they were rude when I came in to pick up my order. Secondly, and this will come off as racist but I don’t care, all of the employees were Indian, and not American Indian, from India Indian. The reason I find this problematic is two-fold. Everyone, and I mean everyone knows that India is one of the filthiest countries in the world and that the people there don’t understand sanitation in the slightest. That has always bothered me and besides my dislike for Indian food, it’s one of the reasons I avoid places where a majority of the workforce is from there.
The other issue regarding that is that since they are from there, some of the accents were so thick it was impossible to understand, and when I was trying to retrieve my order they kept telling me it didn’t exist because I was giving them the name “Chris” and they couldn’t figure out that Chris is short for Christopher. It wasn’t until I had to physically show my phone and point at the screen until they realized my order had been in the queue this whole time and they hadn’t even finished it. I ended up having to wait in the store for an additional 10-15 minutes despite making the order around 30 minutes before I got there. Absolutely ridiculous!
Look, I understand people will look at my review and just write it off as racism, but stereotypes and stories exist for a reason. I don’t understand how the entire workforce was Indian, it seemed like a racist hiring practice to me, that they only seemed to employ Indians. And while the food was still good, I would be lying if I said l wasn’t hesitant about eating it. But the main issue besides that was that they were also rude, which added onto my distrust and hesitation. If the people I interacted with were incredibly nice and welcoming this review wouldn’t exist and while I would still have my issues, I’d feel much more comfortable eating from there and leaving my review at 5 stars. But unfortunately, that...
Read moreThe delivery service at this store is terrible. Today a driver repeatedly asked me to “just meet” at his car for the delivery- which typically I do, even though they’re meant to be contactless/ come to the door and I have clear instructions for delivery- and I continuously stated I could not (I in the shower). He kept asking “why can’t you just come outside” until I finally stated the reason and then STILL asked me to come out. I just finished pulling my sweater on when he came to the door. I called the store and the manager said it’s because I’m at a side door- even though I said he very well could have left it at the front and he never intended to leave his car, only for me to “meet him on the road”. Drivers at this location rarely get out of their cars (yes, there’s parking and it’s not a busy street at all) and usually I don’t complain. Asking me to get out of the shower to meet...
