Michael's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Rye

I would never normally give a negative review for a small business and never for just one bad experience. The woman who runs this place is the RUDEST! I love the pizza but after so many bad experiences this will be our last time ordering from there. I just ordered 3 pizzas and a salad and ONLY the salad was delivered. Most businesses would make it right but not them. Their response was basically tough luck and they couldn’t care less. My son is special needs and is in a full tantrum because he was supposed to get pizza and can’t just simply get over it. They actually suggested that I replace the order and then in an hour and a half they will deliver the old pizzas they have ready for us right now. Or I can come get it. So pack up my newborn and my special needs child and come get the pizza that will now be two hours old and pay full price. So many people in this community have had similar or worse experiences. With so many other restaurants around who care for their customers I highly suggest a restaurant that will treat you better. Very nice private outdoor patio but very noisy neighborhood. I can't rate the food because after ordering I was told 15 min later they didn't have it. When I ordered a 2nd entree, it took another 15 min to be told they didn't have that. By that time the food was coming out for my friends, so not to have them wait for my meal to be ready I ordered a salad. The salads were very large I will give them that. Everyone's pizzas also looked good. They did not knock off my salad off the bill and I was offended that they didn't care enough. They told me they have a full menu. Not true. I asked for coffee at the end and they don't serve it or dessert. Even if they didn't have certain foods then they should've told the waitress so the patrons could be aware and not have to wait as long as I did. Not a well run...

The only good thing that I can say about this place was the pizza and its proximity to the hotel where we stayed. The service was horrible. The bartender and server had a horrible attitude from the moment we arrived. There was only one other patron in the entire place other than our party of four at 7:00 PM on a Wednesday evening. We had drinks and a 1 personal pizza each. The bill was $205 before tip. After questioning her, she adjusted the total $50 in our favor. She stated that she "thought" we had more drinks.
