This is the third bad service experience in this location and ive tried it 3x in different times of day. But this one really threw me off! I placed a mobile order to this location mistaking it for one in the McDonalds plaza in commack. I was in a rush to an appointment and did not realize until i went to the wrong location. I called up to inform them of my mistake and if there was a way for me to get my coffee re-made when i got the chance to get there (after my appointment)because i didn’t want a watered down beverage. The young girl immediately said “thats your problem” I automatically said “wow what a great customer service let me speak to your manager”. The girl then lowered the attitude and now wanted to explain why they couldn’t do it and the manager won’t be there till later, to try later and hung up. I was informed by a friend that the owner is the same as the one in the Mcdonalds plaza. So I go later to place a complaint. Ask for a manager and OMG to my surprise she also had an attitude. I’m not sure if she’s the owner or manager (she never confirmed) just that she can help me. All I can say is she was older, had a couple of piercings on left ear and black hair tied back. When i asked for the policy and if i ordered in different store by accident i got the same answer and that i would have to make the same purchase in the other store. I didn’t even bother arguing because ok now I know and won’t make a mobile order in a rush to avoid this. What really bothers me is the fact that I’ve been in customer service with food industry for 8years. A manager, and now work in healthcare with different kinds of people and i hate the phrase “the customer is always right” because they are not!!! But i’m all for always trying to work with a customer and make them happy because thats part of the job. Even if its explaining it kindly and with a subtle tone makes a big difference for the customer to be understanding and re-purchase. I understand that it can be rough on some days and people really do test you and wake up on the wrong side of bed. But i hate that you gotta treat everyone, or me who genuinely and kindly asked a simple question with disgusting attitude. It’s disappointing and to start the day like that its just annoying. Both the young and older lady. Other than that, this second location has always had great people who care for their customers and the 2 that spoke to me while I did my order were sweet and fast! Upon arrival there were no other customers and my order was not ready, the lady started making my order upon arrival about 5/6 minutes after it was placed. The worker proceeded to throw the straw at me as well. I dropped off my sibling at their job and went back to ask for her name and managements name as this is NOT the first time something like this happens. She proceeded to yell at me, use foul language and disrespected my mother in the midst of her foul language and not to mention had nothing to do with the situation. She refused to give me any names and just proceeded to be extremely disrespectful. Horrible customer service to be receiving at 7am.
