Fellingham's Restaurant Sports Bar — Restaurant in Town of Southampton

I don't want to leave a bad review because I'm hoping I caught this restaurant on a bad day but wow. I waited to be spoken to by a host/anyone for 11 minutes. They weren't busy as it was 3pm. Then I was brought to a table and was sat without menus for another 8 minutes before someone came over and asked if we were getting food. Once we had menus it was another 6 minutes before they asked if we wanted anything to drink I said "water and" (because I also wanted a beer) then the server just left and said okay I'll get your water. So when he came back with the waters we just put our order in because we didn't trust him to come back for our food order. I asked what beer they had on tap and he laughed and said none, just bottles and cans. I asked for a Guinness and he left.

We got our app promptly and I got a warm Guinness. I was kind of shocked it wasn't refrigerated but it wasn't terrible. I got a burger that I ordered medium rare and it came medium well. Still edible but not how I love a burger. Then I was excited to try some of their desserts so when the server came back I opened my mouth to ask for a dessert menu and he dropped the check and said here's the check and then walked away. We waited quite a while to pay also.

So I would have spent more money, gotten a few desserts to split with the table, probably have gotten another beer but I didn't even have that option. Overall food was mediocre and service was atrocious but he seemed nervous so perhaps he was new. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt but I don't think...

Just east of Main Street, on Cameron Street (near Chase Bank), is the best sports bar or local gathering place, Fellingham's, once a carriage house. Owners Millie and Joe keep the area hopping with daily specials and attentive, friendly wait staff. While you will enjoy the best burger and onion rings here, you can also be treated to a good steak, delicious lamb chops, tasty duck, lobster tails and more. Entrees include vegetables and choice of potatoes or rice. When in season local corn is a bonus. You can also get the best bowl of steamed clams served with clam broth (my hubby drinks the entire bowl like soup), or crisp fried oysters or scallops when in season plus hearty soups and more. In the summertime, they open the large doors and patio so you can enjoy the sea breezes that drift north. Love this place! Been past it a number of times and finally decided to grab a quick dinner here w/ the family. What a great little place! Old school pubby sports bar with a NY Yankees theme, as many have said in prior reviews. Great drink prices, very attentive servers ( ours was Libby) and great food. Had a cheeseburger that was huge and cooked to absolute medium rare perfection $16) ! Wife had a crock of chili ($9) which she loved, little guy had boneless wings which were plentiful enough to share,, and tasty, came with celery and blue cheese ($12). Food at other tables looked great as well. Great spot for a casual pub style food if you aren't into dropping $14 for a beer, $22 for a wine, or $28 for a poorly cooked burger like you find at most places on Main...
