Chen's Kitchen — Restaurant in Towson

I was relieved to have finally found excellent chinese food being new and having just moved into the area. We would order nearly every few weeks. I ordered the raw volcano roll and ate around 7:20pm. I work overnights at a pet hospital and by 5am was in the throes of some major food poisoning. When relief arrived to take over for me, it was decided to call an ambulance and go to the hospital as I couldn't walk, let alone drive myself home after vomiting more than 10times in an hour and a half- there was nothing left in my stomach and I needed fluids and anti-nausea meds. After making it home yesterday afternoon, I called them just to warn that the fish has turned and whomever answered was not sympathetic and just denied it to be them.. I hadn't eaten anything else besides their food. Sushi was my favorite food. Never again. That and definitely not...

I used to order from here during my college years and it was my favorite. I recently moved back to the area and was craving some Kung Pao Shrimp. Remembered I now live up the street and decide to stop in and grab some. Everyone inside was really nice, the food was ready quickly and everything is absolutely delicious! Huge shrimp in the Kung Pao Shrimp and I love that they do mixed veggies with it. Some places only do carrots/celery/peppers. I also got the General Tso’s Tofu because I try any place that does it. Their tofu is cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The sauce is delicious and the tofu is flavored all the way through. I also ordered enough to get a free pork egg roll and that was also cooked to perfection. So happy I have this spot so close. I will definitely will picking up from there whenever I have a Chinese...

I'm thrilled to have found Chen's Kitchen! I frequented my previous go-to Chinese restaurant for nearly 20 years before they sadly gave their menu a huge overhaul, and removed every single item I used to order. Thankfully, now Chen's Kitchen more than fills that void!! So far, I've sampled their large, scrumptious monk's menu(!!!), crispy eggplant, sesame balls, and veg sushi rolls, and each delicious dish has been consistently tasty! Plus, each order - containing plentiful portions at fair prices - has arrived correctly, promptly, and piping hot, handed off by a kind driver. Bonus, each order has contained a complimentary vegetable spring roll, which I greatly appreciate!! Chen's Kitchen makes my tummy VERY happy.
