Gypsy Spirits Tasting Room — Restaurant in Traverse City

My husband and I live locally and have been here twice (most recently a few days ago). Both times a great experience! Amazing cocktails with great ingredients made very very well. They also have a lot of options on their cocktail menu in addition to specials. The atmosphere is very chill (and clean, thank you for that it matters!) and really lends itself to great conversation. Which leads me to the bartenders…we’ve gotten the opportunity to meet and chat with a few. Taylor, Cameron and Doug (apologies for misspellings) who were all so friendly and personable) not to mention great at what they do. Don’t bother showing up at 8pm when they close at 10pm. Use to really enjoy coming here and their drinks but not anymore. The bartender was immediately explaining loudly how she hopes she can close the bar early so she can go home. Then made us feel bad for wanting to order drinks at 8:45pm, and continued to clean and put everything away around us and take our drink menus away when they were still scheduled to be open for over an hour. We apologized since everything stated they were open till 10 but the bartender ignored us and continued to close. Would not recommend visiting unless you’re in line before they open to not face...

The drinks are fantastic, the staff is super friendly and helpful in suggesting cocktails, and the atmosphere is very cool compared to some of the more tired TC establishments!
