This evening, we embarked on a transformative culinary journey at Nittolo’s Little Italy, and let me tell you, it far exceeded our expectations, inspiring a profound appreciation for the art of dining out! As soon as we stepped through the doors, we were enveloped by a warm and inviting ambiance that hinted at the epicurean delights to come. The staff treated us like cherished guests, attending to our every whim with unmatched hospitality, making us feel like royalty. We kicked off our meal with a plate of truffle French fries — oh my goodness! They were golden brown, perfectly crispy, and drizzled with an exquisite truffle oil, elevating a simple side to unprecedented heights. The black garlic mayo on the side took their flavor to a whole new level, transforming a humble dish into an indulgent treat that left us in awe. Next, we dove into a bowl of succulent Prince Edward Island mussels. Each mussel was nestled among juicy roasted tomatoes and tender artichokes, creating a symphony of flavors and textures that danced on our palates, inspiring a deep appreciation for the beauty of culinary art. As a grand finale, we couldn’t resist the morel forest mushroom bisque. It was a velvety, luxurious experience enriched with bourbon cream, and that drizzle of truffle oil added an earthy depth that made every spoonful a true delight, leaving us feeling grateful and inspired. The entire evening was a feast for the senses, leaving us with unforgettable memories and eager anticipation for our next visit, which we cannot wait to embark on. We’re already envisioning our next orders! For this east coast girl it was like being home. Huge shoutout to Chef Eric Nittolo and Chef Dominic for creating such an incredible experience. We can’t wait to return and continue our culinary journey! Oh, since our bellies were full we didn't have room for dessert, but we came home with an order of Cannoli that we dove into as soon as we walked in the door. Yum is all I have to say about that. #LittleItalybyNittolo’s #traversecitymichigan #newyorkstyle #joyfullyjoelle #outlittlecorneroftheworld #scottlankforddesign #lifeasamomof4boys

I had the pleasure of dining at Little Italy recently, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. My friend and I sat at the bar — which I definitely recommend if you want a lively yet cozy spot with great views of the open kitchen. We didn’t have a reservation and were lucky to get two seats; the restaurant was completely full, which says a lot about how popular (and loved) this place is. They highly recommend reservations! We ordered tomato soup, garlic baguette, Caprese salad, truffle fries, lobster fettuccine, and finished with a delicious cannoli. Every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The lobster fettuccine was rich and creamy, and the Caprese salad tasted like summer on a plate. The atmosphere is warm and authentic — a perfect mix of classic Italian charm and modern energy. It’s clear the staff put a lot of heart into what they do. This visit made me appreciate not only the food but the overall experience even more. I can confidently say: Little Italy is one of the best spots in town for Italian cuisine. Big shout to Eric, Dom and whole crew.

It is pretty hard for a new restaurant to earn a five-star rating in my experience but Nittolo’s hit it out of the park. I’m reviewing my second visit, the first being May 14. Both were five-star quality visits. We arrived for Happy Hour (3-5p seven days a week) and sat at the bar. It was great to see how hard all of the staff was working from that vantage point. Hostesses were filling water bottles when they weren’t busy. Staff were helping each other make drinks. The kitchen looked not the least bit stressed and food kept coming out the window. A well-oiled machine run by many foreign staff members who have nothing but great things to say about Eric Nittolo. We had the calamari, a Jersey White pizza, Shrimp ala Vodka, and the cannoli. All were great portions for two people. Served hot. The pizza my dining partner said just may be her new favorite in town. I love the calamari planks rather than rings. And Happy Hour pricing is so accessible. We will return regularly this summer and beyond.

Wow! We were at the Chateu Chantel winery, and needed to eat @ closing, 5pm. We found this "new" place, since May, in beautiful Traverse City. What a gorgeous day, sunny, warm and, people out, walking, boating, driving downtown. Great location. Near the beach/Grand Traverse Bay, and within walking distance of everything nearby! Food fantastic, service, and waiter RUDOLPH, fantastic, knowledgeable, and very good attention to detail! We called ahead to see if we had to make a reservation as website said to and were told to come on in as we like to sit/eat @ the bar! When we arrived it was almost a pretty full house and, even the patio deck was filled outside. Nice area with umbrella's at each table. A waitress works the area, and food is served quickly. From the water from a milk glass poured as we sat down, and no ice, just how I like it, silverware wrapped in a cloth napkin placed in front of us, to our orders, and dinner served within a short time frame, Rudolph was excellent at his job. Very personable, as were several of the other waiters, and waitresses as we were seated right next to the computer that they did their input of each order on to the kitchen. Our food, starting with 2 cannoli, with espresso, before dinner was fantastic! We also had a veggie pizza, and eggplant parmigiano. First item was fried mozzarella with 2 fabulous sauces. From what we observed, from the front door greeter to the end of the meal, and payment, it is a well oiled machine. The flow of patrons seemed to have reserved tables from before we arrived and, it was a full house and, then they were gone. Others arrived, and everyone was taken care of. If any one thing stuck out from a very good meal, atmosphere and, quality workers, was the Sun. We were facing the East, and, could see out, to the beach. The couple that was sitting to our left, with their backs to the North, had a bit of difficulty with the Sun in their eyes. And, the woman asked if they had any blinds. Answer was No! So, if nothing else you will attract more people if you can help with that Sun in their face, at the bar while eating!!! We had a great time, THANK YOU! See you again....

My wife and I were so excited to try Nittolo’s had heard great things about it. We arrived 10 mins before our 4:30 reservation and were promptly seated. Our waiter a pleasant enough foreign fellow brought us some water took drink orders and dropped menu. We ordered appetizers which were on happy hour special. We ordered calamari and truffle fries. The calamari was a soggy rubbery mess so unappetizing, the truffle fries were served to us cold but the waiter didn’t bother to check on us and when he did he just cleared plates. He could see the calamari hadn’t been touched. He seemed to have to many tables and since we were his smallest table we weren’t a priority. For dinner my wife offered the lobster and filet pasta the filet was the toughest piece of meat she has eaten in her life. I tired and the steak was tough. I ordered the carbonara with chicken and shrimp it was so flavorless and the pasta was so overcooked it was mush. Much like our appetizers our server was no where to be found to maybe rectify the situation. Overall it was a terrible experience we would not recommend. My wife and I have three kids and don’t eat out often. We really looked forward and were completely let down and...
