My husband and I went for dinner last night. We both ordered the all you can eat crab legs. The initial plate came out and everything was fine. When the server brought over the 1st refill, he proceeded to pick up the clusters of legs with ungloved bare hands and wanted to put them on our plate. We explained that we don't want them since he touched them. He offered us to get another set from the kitchen and we stated that no, we were done if this is the way they are going to be served to us.
We asked to speak to a manager and the manager from the bar came over and we explained the issue, she stated that she told him that was unacceptable. She then stated if we were drinking she would buy us a drink to make up for it. We stated we didn't want a drink and what he was doing was wrong. Her response was that I know he isn't sick due to him just getting out of the hospital. We explained we were done and wanted no more of their food since we didn't know how it was being handled in the kitchen.
The server came back over, tried apologizing again. We stated that we know you have been here for a long time and he replied yes 18 years, so we stated than you should have known better to touch peoples food with your bare hands - he stated that is how he has done it since he was hired.
When he brought us our receipt - he stated that all the employees there has had their Hep A shots. Big deal, look at their health inspection reports, servers touching dirty plates and then bringing out fresh plates to customers without washing their hands. How many germs are on dirty plates that someone else has eaten off of? No telling what other people may be carrying on their hands, cough on their plates etc.,
When our check came, they took $10 off each of our meals. We each had 2 clusters of legs - Our bill was still $85 plus a service fee of $3.38 to pay by credit card - no knowledge / no posting stating you are punished for using your card instead of paying cash - what an expensive mistake it was to eat there. We will never eat...
Read moreThis is the worst place ever. I went for the advertised all you can eat crab legs for $39.99. (My father also order crab) The other people in my party ordered other items. About 30 minutes later our food comes, and mine and my fathers plate’s contained 4 cluster and 3 of the 4 clusters were still cold and not just because they sat to long. Because they were not cooked long enough.(Seriously) So we send them back. 30 minutes later the waitress comes by and says they have to boil the water again.(What? All you can eat crab legs and you don’t have a pot of water continuously boiling… STUPID. Well about 15 minutes later my father, canceled his crab legs and ordered something different. His dinner came out, and I still didn’t have mine. I’m still waiting patiently, not upset at all… My crab legs come, and they are good, but not GREAT. Did I mention everyone else in my party had long finished their dinners. Anyhow the bill comes and the had overcharged us for 1 Pop and there was a charge for 59.99. So when our waitress came back I said excuse me but you over charged us for the all you can eat crab(39.99) She said nope that’s the price, I said no and why would I pay 60$ for a meal that’s supposed to be 39.99, and you made me wait a hour and a half(she says I didn’t make you wait) Ok this place hade me waiting for my food. and you are a very rude person. She said I don’t care I’m not working here anymore anyhow. Then walked away.
So about the bill: Manger: sorry we are under new ownership and we can’t go in on the website and change the price.
Me: Ok and how’s that my problem, you need to honor the advertised price.
Nope, we paid full price
Recap: cold as in not completely cooked. Ended up waiting a hour and a half for only good/not GREAT crab legs Terrible Smart mouthed waitress and poor management
I give this restaurant minus 10 Stars ⭐️ Don’t waste your time or...
Read moreI'm giving this place five stars not because it's a five-star dining experience with lots of class but, because the food was exceptional at an exceptional price, and a great selection of choices between Seafood and other food. We went about 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon which seems to be a good time unless you're looking for a big crowd there were a few tables several more people at the bar. Our server Tina was excellent, she took time to explain all our questions and give her input on the tastiness of the various food. We got a dozen raw oysters which is the most expensive thing on the menu, but they were very tasty and a good size. There are so many different items that I wanted to try I had a hard time choosing but I ended up with the ribs which were very good, nice big and tasty, I love them. The meal comes with two sides, I got a side upgraded salad to Caesar, their Caesar dressing is very good, I also got the baked potato, which by the way you can order anytime you don't have to wait until 4:00 or 5:00 p.m., which is another thing I like. Hubby got the fried chicken dinner and it was fantastic Four pieces white and dark mixed however, we upgraded to have four dark pieces. The coating was really good the chicken was good and he got the coleslaw and the baked potato. Everything was terrific except the baked potato, attention kitchen personnel the potato was only lukewarm. We also had one drink each a Stella draft and their version of a Rum Runner. They also sell some of their own hot sauce and I bought one it's very tasty I can't wait to put it on my own stuff at the house. So overall I get this place a great rating it's kind of a hole in the wall a nice hole in the wall apparently they have music also at different times, they have a nice large bar and plenty of seating. So we will definitely be back there are several items that...
