McDonald's — Restaurant in Truckee

Okay....soooo....I tryed this place not once but twice, only to be weeellll , not welcomed as they wait for u to talk and both times two different manic depressive Hispanic little girls are all trained the same to roll their eyes and silently shout depression and making u re think ordering here at all as to what u might be getting yourself into.Moving on through my very short order one would think an average person could understand 1 crispy chicken combo ,2 sausage mcmuffins and large drink...not here...that never happened, corrected her on order only to still get the order wrong after I sat down to a mcchicken and 2 egg mcmuffins 1 drink do the math..took a bite of the sausage mcmuffin and never tasted one like this as I looked to my partner to see if her crispy chicken tasted allright she had the same response as me.....requested manager going through the Dawn Of The Dead front line waiting back at seat 10 minutes so we called the truckee McDonald's and no answer....go figure. ..called again and finally got him as he stated he was very busy (if u are still reading this and have read the similar reviews I can see why he is so busy )anyways he sent out a very nice Hispanic with broken English to explain yet again how manager was very busy and he say he coming, he coming ,lie 5 mor minut is okay..22 minutes had passed until .....u guessed it ....a manager was born....asked of the problem and was explained as we showed him the only 1 bite of each item was taken and left in its entirety as he explained of how embarrassing his workers were to him and his only solution was to re do our order....we of course passed on that smoking deal and left....u might want to do the same as I have now seen many reviews of much of the same...let's all make America...

Drive Thru open 24 hours. Check dining room hours for accuracy.

The drive thru is the main traffic for this restaurant. It can get very busy. The dining room isn't as busy but I suspect it can get very crowded on busier days and hours.

The staff hustles but isn't very warm or interactive. The order kiosks are more interactive than the staff. The staff isn't rude, they just don't interact much with customers aside from calling out order numbers that are ready for pick-up and creating signs that direct guest not order at the counter but to use the kiosks to order. At least the kiosks have a screen that reads, "Welcome". You'll not likely get anything like that from the humans.

Standard McDonald's food taste and quality. This location is like the vast majority of McDonald's in that regard.

The dining room itself is adequately sized for most times of the day. It's not cleaned regularly, however. The same goes for the restrooms.

Bottomline, the drive-thru is probably going to be the best experience at...

IF YOU'RE TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY, WAIT UNTIL RENO!!! Be ready to pay double! This place up charges you because of their location and doesn't operate like any other McDonald's even though they get everything at the same price! Don't expect any of the regular deals. No 2 for 1's, no breakfast all day. Nothing. The employee's got mad at me when I asked why I couldn't get breakfast at 10:45 and wouldn't even answer me. They still had the breakfast menu up but wouldn't serve it.... then got mad at me!!?? This is a nice review! I cant say what I really want to!! If you're reading this and want food, do yourself a favor and call full belly deli and get some of the best food in North lake to go. Next exit.
