If I could give zero stars I would. Disgusting. Went in, ordered and sat down. The cashier- (server) went behind our table and grabbed a left over bone broth bowl? (That what it looked like- not entirely sure? But it was a normal size metallic bowl with onions garlic and peppers ((that like taking someone left over salsa bowl that was eaten out of and giving it to them 😅)) and placed it on our table. When I called him out for it, that he took a previous table left over food. (Table had already left) he said "so" and I told him that a sanitary violation. Cashier just kept repeating "so sorry". Salsa was gross, watery queso and cold chips. Didnt even want to stay for tacos. Got the heck out of there. Honestly- the whole taking someone else left overfood and giving it to our table is extremely off putting as well as disgusting. 65 dollars down the drain! Didnt even ask for a refund, and cashier didnt even offer. Keep the money- hopefully you can use it to teach your staff...
Read moreEl Fogoncito is one of those taquerías that doesn’t need flash — it wins with flavor. I stopped in for a quick bite and ended up low-key obsessed. The al pastor tacos were the standout: thinly sliced pork with that perfect crispy char, fresh cilantro and onion, and a little hit of pineapple that ties the whole thing together. The tortillas were warm and clearly made fresh — soft with just enough toast to hold it all in. I also tried the carne asada, which came hot, juicy, and well-seasoned. Add their house green salsa? Game over.
Service was fast, friendly, and straight to the point — just how I like it. This spot has that classic “hole-in-the-wall, but it hits every time” energy. Whether you’re craving late-night tacos or just want something real, El...
Read moreI brought two Asada (Steak) tacos and a asada Burrito. It was $1 tacos special that sunday, so that was great! The Tacos tasted Awesome! Your regular authentic street tacos with steak cilantro, onion and a side of lime. The burrito was Bomb as f too. I decided not to have lettuce, tomato, or corn on mine but I had everything else it came with and it was great. Fresh tortilla chips, cucumber slices and lime. And I suggest you try it like this as well. This place is pretty awesome. T.v.s to watch the Game. They have wooden chairs that make it seem Texas like. And not to mention the staff were excellent. Wonderful service. They even had a lemon cake there manager brought by which i was given ccomplimentary and that was excellent too.. This is a go to spot...
