I am VERY upset. We purchased an adjustable queen fame and Kelburn Hyb queen mattress on August 23, 2015. We had never had an adjustable frame before and thought maybe we should try it since the sales associate had told us several times we had 100 days to try out the merchandise and if we were not satisfied we could return it for an exchange or refund. (with $150 restock fee) But to please as least give it 30 days to see if we liked it. Never were we told that the adjustable frame was not returnable. We also purchase pillows and a mattress cover and we were told they were not returnable and we voiced that we understand that and the reason why. When we tried the adjustable frame in the store, we ask about the adjustment for each side and the sales associate told us if we wanted that we would need to get a king size and we said ok we would try the queen but we may need to exchange it for a king since we may want different adjustments. Not even then were we told that the frame was not returnable. Which I think the sale associate should have been sure we understood that since we had mentioned that we would try the queen but may need to come back and get the king. Well the adjustable frame is not working out for us, so we returned to the store and told the associate that it was not working out for us and we were told then that the adjustable base was not returnable. Needless to say we were very surprised and highly upset since we had discussed maybe going with the King size, but we are out enough money having a bed we are not satisfied with and feeling we have been shafted in the whole deal. Not a happy customer!!! Read moreI've always been a "cheap" mattress buyer, $300 or less at the closest budget furniture store. Upon the urging of my chiropractor I visited a "real" mattress store this week. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted by "Denise" and instead of feeling like prey in a lion's den full of sales sharks, she was surprisingly pleasant and welcoming. She asked all the right questions before even talking about beds. Did I have back problems? Was I able to sleep through the night? Did I sleep on my side, back or stomach? Did I prefer a firm, medium or soft mattress? How did I sleep on my current bed? etc. etc. As Denise walked me through the store explaining the pros & cons of each mattress I was just amazed by the differences in each bed. She had me lay on each bed and then she looked at how the bed dipped and formed to my body. Ironically the ones that did not meet her approval for my body position and pressure points were also uncomfortable to me. In the end, I purchased the first one she had recommended. After sleeping in my new bed with my fantastic coconut pillow last night, I feel as if the mattress and pillow were custom made just for my body. I slept great (without waking up multiple times), didn't toss and turn, woke up refreshed and the best part, my back feels great. Read moreWhen I went to the Mattress Firm Slate Ridge store, I was looking for a twin size bed for a spare bedroom. The guy at the store was helpful and efficient. I picked out a mattress. Also, I bought a frame for the bed. I scheduled the date for delivery while I was at the store. When the delivery was made at my home, the guys set up the frame. However, the mattress was the WRONG SIZE! A QUEEN SIZE mattress had been sent, instead of the twin XL that I had ordered. I sent back the mattress. The next day, I went back to the store and went in the front door. A different guy was there. He told me that the store was not open yet and he needed to sign in. I had an appointment to go to, so I couldn’t wait. He was obviously irritated that I was there to bother him by expecting to have the correct size mattress that I paid for! He said that he would send me a text message. Then in a very sarcastic tone, told me to “have a nice day.” As I got into my car, he locked the door to the store. A mattress was delivered to our door today. Hopefully, it’s the right size! The delivery people refused to bring the mattress inside our home - even though I paid for “set up” of the bed! They would only bring it to the door. My 80 year old husband had to struggle by himself to get the mattress inside our home. I will never have anything to do with this...
