El Juan Colorado Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Tualatin

This is the first and hopefully last time I ever change my review from 5 stars to 1 star. My experience today was overwhelmingly disappointing.

I have spent thousands of dollars over the past 10 years eating at Juan Colorado in Tualatin. I usually get the same thing "Acculpoco Burritio" for $22.95.

Instead of the regular seafood burrito stuffed with seafood and cream sauce I got a vegetarian burrito with a few shrimp and small scallops stuffed at the far end of the burrito.

I informed the waiter of the issue and he informed the manager. The waiter returned and his response was the manager said the burrito was prepared the usual way as always. Thanks for not coming to my table Mr manager and handling this situation.

I told the waiter to bring me the bill and to take away the meal.

I was presented the full bill without an apology or any sort of consideration for the circumstance.

Hate to write this review since this was one of my most favorite places in portland to eat.

Wish Juan Colorado the best but I will not be returning.

Came here because the reviews looked great. We have one closer to our house in Tualatin. We wanted to try this one out first. The food was completely mediocre, and unfortunately not at all good. Incredibly basic, overcooked and The margarita was pretty bad. Especially for the cost. The waitresses were so nice. Don't get me wrong, and the establishment was clean and tidy. The food just was not at all anything special or anything to come back for when you pay over $100 without tip-Not to mention they apparently charge for extra salsa because the menu says it's in high demand? The red salsa itself is nothing special. I really wanted to like it! I pay over 20 bucks for a margarita that taste like pure orange juice. Wouldn't recommend...
